I love Avalon II, but in the past week I have played 14,860 spins with a total of 0 bonuses and 116 "teases" (2 bonus symbols landing). Has anyone else noticed a recent change with this slot or am I just on a horrific streak?

I'd say it was a (truly) horrific streak. You are only averaging 1 "tease" per 125-130 spins? That in itself is bloody atrocious.

I've had a somewhat "up and down" run on Avalon 2. At a rough guess, I would say I've done around 30,000 spins on that slot since it launched. I am fairly sure I haven't gone more than 1,250 spins without a bonus round, even during my worst sessions.

I'm also sure that one of our members (lotusch I think) has mentioned having runs of over 2,000 spins without a bonus round. But nearly 15,000? :eek2:

Last week, I had a c.900 spin session (@60p a spin) that ended with a £600+ profit. And no less than 4 wins of 100x bet or better.

On the down side, I've gone over £200 (on 60p spins) without hitting a feature. More than once.

I could argue that because my most recent session was easily my best ever on that slot, it must mean that there has been a recent change and it was a good one.....ie because I won.

But that would be a pretty lame argument. :o

That's nearly 15,000 spins and the odds to land the bonus are ~1 in 150 (as per the reel strips, and confirmed over kktmd's 1M spins experiment) . So you have to "miss" roughly 100 times in a row for this to happen.

That's the equivalent of flipping a coin 100 times and landing on head 100 times. The odds for this to happen are so low that our brain cannot process a number this big. It's about 1 in 1,267,650,600,228,229,401,496,703,205,376. That's WAY, WAY, WAY more than the number of stars in the observable universe. That's more than the number of atoms present in all the humans on the planet combined.

Either you miscalculated (likely) or the slot is broken (it was fine yesterday BTW, as I got the bonus 3 times in about 500 spins).

IF this really happened, send a mail to the casino and tell them to ask MGS to investigate because even if sometimes randomness is weird, this is way off the chart of probabilities.

I was playing auto spin on real money games over several casinos. I have had some long streaks without the bonus before but this is getting pretty silly. I emailed the casinos so they can investigate but if others are still getting bonuses as normal I doubt there is going to be much resolution, other than riding out the storm...

Horrible figures. If those 14860 spins were the only sessions you had over these two weeks it's not good for the casinos in question. If you had sessions with bonus rounds within these two weeks it's not the same.

If the slots are using a total random RNG it doesn't matter if you hade spread the sessions over several casinos during these two weeks. I also don't think that those 116 "teases" matter at all, it's 14 860 spins in a row without bonus round that is the big question.

Another question, what were your RTP during these sessions? Can you ask the casinos this?

Also, I am interested in your betsize. :)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and call shenanigans.

I don't buy it.

I would want to see some evidence before I'd even consider believing those numbers.

Are you sure you mean IN A ROW without a bonus?

Maybe a rep could confirm this or some playcheck data could be shown.

The more I think of it the more I say BS. How exactly were these figures measured? Unless every single spin is documented, then I don't see how you could come to this conclusion.

ive hit 1400 spins on avalon then hit a feature , thats the wrost ive ever done in many years of playing anyway i tend to find if your chasing the free spins when you do hit them they pay so poorly , now after whatever spins i play if they dont show i move on pointless battering a machine which is cold . lesson learnt is dont go chasing features your get burnt very badly )

That's why I asked as well. He could have used 2000 spins on seven casinos, but the numbers are getting wrong if he between these sessions without bonus rounds had a session at a different casino where he infact hit the feature.

Maybe a rep could confirm this or some playcheck data could be shown.

There has to be several reps to confirm it I guess.

But if op cane name the casinos and how many spins at each casino the reps can confirm or deny.

I think it's very interesting info if this really is true.

I am glad you said that first. I find it quite unbelievable. The MG 243-way'ers average aroung 150 spins per feature as Balt said. In my personal experience of years of playing aside from BDBA ONLY 243-way'ers like TSII, IR etc. my personal record is 1357 spins. If you had added a digit somewhere so it should have been about 1500 spins, then just about within range of a chronically bad session. But 15k??? I don't buy it either, as the odds are so colossal you could only really 'achieve' that if the RNG pool had somehow gotten rid of the bonus game trigger altogether.
IF you could get the rep to confirm this I will be staggered. I will eat my foil hat.

My experience is like this:

IR: Fairly easy to get freespins.(Can go on long bad runs with no features)
TS2: Slightley harder to get the freespins
TFROL: Hard to get freespins
Avalon 2: Very hard!!!

IMO any game that goes 1500-2000 spins without a feature on a regular (All of the above and some WMS and NetEnt slots) are total shit...

Just look at DOA its high variance but its very rare it goes that long without giving a feature.
