Asking your casino for free chips

Hi I have noticed a few members saying they have asked for free chips, I myself after being a member of a casino for 6 years have never asked for any, so I would like to know why you ask and if you have any luck?

Really depends on my deposits/withdraws, and if the casino is kinda enough to offer freechip/spin or good bonuses, my biggest freechip from asking was at 7sultans for 700 30x playthrough none max withdraw think i cashed out 4-5000 with a problem.

But some casinos wont give you anything or a small bonus if lucky, but never hurts to ask they can only say no.

I think it is fine if you are a loyal player with regular deposits.

I have asked free chips from 32red, redflush, royal vegas and nordicbet.

They all granted me some.

32red - 3x 1000 chips and many times 100 - 500 chips.
I do deposit a lot at 32red. It is a way of trust and appreciation towards 32red.

The rest casinos only gave me between 20 - 50 chips.

Then 32red keeps getting my 80% of deposits.

I always ask ever since being told from an industry insider that it is always best to draw attention to your account by asking and the worst they can say is "no", so you've lost nothing. I am always a high roller though so I feel slightly more comfortable asking as my business is of high value to the casino. Usually get quite good VIP perks without having to ask but at certain casinos, I have had to ask, and have always done OK from that, the best was probably when Mr Green just gave me £500 instantly withdraw-able money a couple of months ago. I would not have got anything had I not asked them to look over my account.

I also asked Betfred VIP for deposit bonuses and they offered me £300 on any deposit of £2000, but I managed to negotiate that up to £500 which was good stuff.

I also think you should always ask because the worst they can do is say no. Plus, if you have been a member at a Casino for 6 years and never asked for any chips and made several deposits in that timeframe, they would be foolish to not give you free chips.

Every account has a value, and if you are ahead or running close to even, you might be told no. Some casinos will notice and drop you off a chip after a bad run.

It doesn't hurt to ask ever, as long as you don't get upset if you are told they can't offer you anything at this time.

I almost always use live chat, but if some places live chat have little authority, you might be better off emailing support at those places.

Slot players generally get more, as we have a higher house edge, so there's a little room for the casino to toss us something after a bad run.

I've had a little kindness a couple of times when my account wasn't really in a position to offer a free chip, but they found a little something when I was having a deposit issue or such.

Also, a bump of a $1 or two to redeem loyalty points is a very modest request from a loyal player.

To be honest I did not ask about the max cashout but I don't think it did have one, anyway I am not complaining I get my chip drop tomorrow, a weekly drop of 75 chips with 1 x WR

I see it as begging and I dislike it. Only time that I came close to ask for something was after my 32red 40% RTP adventure and I didn't have to do it because the CSR went ahead and gave me some chips.

(Not counting all the times that I didn't get my free spins at Redbet and had to PM Andy to get them, but that wasn't begging. BTW if you read this Andy, I still don't get them about 50% of the time ).

I've not had the urge to ask, since the places I play, are generally good to me. It's one of the things I notice, and the places that can't figure it out on their own, I tend to leave alone after a while.
I think, the years I've played at 32Red and sisters, I've asked them to bump my loyalty points once. just shows that they can figure it out, eh ?

Most casinos will give you some free chips if you are a good casino account to them. I don't play at casinos not handing out free money from time to time. No problem finding casinos for me.

Free chips even as much as $25 or $35 are useless for most USA players at RTG casinos when taking into account minimum withdrawal limits in the cashier (depending method of WD) and max WD allowed on free monies. Grande Vegas send me $25 chips frequently. They are useless....

Other than deposits and cash-out amount, which I think is the main factor. casino may need to consider how the player played.
Bet size, wage amount etc...
Basically, this is 2 way street, if casino treats players nicely, players will come back more.

I play at CWC on a very regular basis. I almost never use a deposit bonus because I like to play the tournies and you can't use bonus monies for that.

Things were a bit tight for me last week and I took a shot and asked.

Nope, chat rep offered my 65% deposit bonus, which is less than some they have offered in the casino "promotions" section.

I don't think its like this at all Chopley. It is well known within the industry that "comps" are just part of the way things work within casinos. This is all to do with the value attached to the customer coming back for more, treating them well, wanting them to spend their money with YOU and not one of the many competitors.

Thinking of it like buying an expensive car. You go to the Ferrari showroom. They will give you expensive coffee, invite you to sit in their expensive leather seats, want one of those cool Ferrari jackets from the gift shop? No problem. Some money off the car? Done. Some Ferarri crested mats thrown in, you got it.

Casinos are very much like this - particularly with high value customers, its all about treating them well as they are A) more likely to return (lose) more and B) They keep your business running well.

I think its fine to ask. Even if you're not 'down' at the time, you will be at one point, and its best you lose with them instead of someone else.

This is only my opinion of course but I see it nothing like going out in to the street with a tattered hat.

Some of them, though, will let you deposit fresh funds up to the withdrawal limit - so for example if you are playing on a $25 chip, max cashout of $250, minimum withdrawal limit of $350, you could make the max $250, deposit $100 and THEN withdraw $350. Some players won't want to do that, so your words of caution are valid, but just pointing out an option some may not be aware of.

I would just tell live chat I want to close my account and they would toss me a free chip to keep it open.

of course when I closed my accounts I told them upfront I didn't want the free chip as it was too tempting.
