Hi all,

I'm new to Casinomeister, only joined yesterday, so sorry to ask for help so quick but Ive tried all else and would love some guidance.

I deposited with Sloty on Friday via Trustly and then went to withdraw and since Sunday have had a nightmare with their service and verification and they have now asked me to request the withdraw to my debit card.

They said it's because my original deposit when I registered was by debit card so until I withdraw to this method they cannot approve a Trustly withdrawal. Taken me from Sunday until today to get this resolutiution but i still feel I should be able to withdraw to Trustly as that was my deposit method.

Does anybody know if this is normal?

Thanks in advance.......

It is normal, yes. Most casinos are required to do that. The rule is generally (to prevent laundering and other financial chicanery between your various payment methods) that you must withdraw at least the total amount of deposits to your original deposit method before being allowed to send the withdrawals elsewhere.

So say you deposit £100 with a credit card, win 500 you must withdraw at least £100 back to that card to cover that before you can send the other £400 to a subsequent alternative payment method registered.

This also covers the casino against chargebacks as the amount is refunded already to the original method.

Did you play your whole deposit away you made with card before making deposit with Trustly? Many times this is not issue if there are no any funds left from that original deposit but if you made new deposit when you still had balance then they most probably require you to withdraw back to your card.

Casinos are bit different in these rulings, that's at least should not be allowed that you deposit with card, then win, then when having balance make small deposit with other payment method and trying then to withdraw your winnings there where deposit you got winnings is not originated.

I assume it would be easiest just do what they demand or is there some issue why not to withdraw to your debit card?

Hi Slottery,

I think I may have had a few pennies left from my original deposit but can't remember if honest.

Following Dunover's guidance I have requested an amount well over my original deposit on card then will try Trustly for the remainder.

No issue withdrawing to card just Trustly is usually quicker.

Thanks for the help and advice

Every casino I have deposited into has required me to withdraw into the original method its common practise.

Apart from the SE matter, i know most Casinos do require this of their players, as some of the licensing Jurisdictions require this, in turn, from them. But as with most regulations it seems to be a bit of a grey area, and open to interpretation from the Casino's point of view. There have been various examples of Casinos paying out to a different payment method, some of the ones i play at have no problem with this at all, maybe in part because i use various methods, but some make a big point of it, and even cancel your WD, if you do it to the wrong method.

One fairly recent example was in Casumo, where i deposited with a paysafe, and tried to withdraw to Neteller..Now, Paysafe let's people have an account, but you can also just use the instant codes which you can buy at any gas-station, which is what i do. I never opened a Paysafe account, and wasn't planning too either. Of course most Casinos let you withdraw paysafe depo's to whichever method, but Casumo told me that WD's deriving from Paysafe depo's need to be by Bank.

Of course i complied, but that just goes to show it's a vague area.

So yeah, common practice, but it shouldn't really have to be. I get that it's this way for any new player, before verification/KYC, but a verified customer, i.m.h.o. should be able to deposit and withdraw with each verified method he/she chooses... but hey, that's just me :p
