Are your deposits getting smaller?

Anyone else remember when the minimun deposit at places like Lucky Nugget was $50?? hmm? I think at that time, only INetBet would accept under $25 deposits.

So yeah... I think casinos will be quite happy to take just about whatever we're willing to fork over these days. I guess my not depositing for the past several months has left its mark. ;)

........I guess my not depositing for the past several months has left its mark. ;)

 Well, the same here. I haven't deposited my own money for the past four months. Blackjack should have a player win percentage of around 43% but I was encountering too many 20%, even 12% win sessions from these [bleep] casinos. At a couple of casinos, my double-down win rate was only like 32% when it should be about 55% and this is after a few thousand hands. I figured if this is the way that online casinos are going to be from now on, then I'd rather go to land casinos. Regular blackjack rules are hard enough as it is; I don't need this crap they are/were dishing out.

Are you somewhat implying that you are not getting a fair game Westland??

Hey on a side not a a lsight derail- have you heard back about that other client with Heroes who won a substantial amount on sports or something??

Did he get his money from them or is there any update to this.

Right. And since most sessions right after a new deposit seem to always start out on the negative variance side, small deposits will be wiped out in short order in blackjack- as long as the minimum bet is still $1. I haven't seen a 50 cent or 10 cent blackjack in several years now.

Nope. SHE didn't get her money. Heroes went out of business before she got paid.

Along with the smaller deposits and huge bonuses, comes ridiculous play through. It's hard as Hell to find any reasonable play through requirements any more.

I never got into the habit of using bonuses, only on occasion I will take one on the premise that I will get more play time, if not a small cash out. Don't really think that has worked out all that well for me! :D

Speaking of....does anyone know where I can make a $5 cc deposit? ;)

Actually, I have this old prepaid debit card I want to use up and it has $5 on it.

I'm seeing more spam from casinos offering to double, triple, or more my deposits, such as one from Bodog offering to double my $20 deposit. I've never seen casinos falling over each other scrambling to get those small deposits like they are now.:what: Are online casinos hurting that bad?

Yeah I have had plenty along with free chips and spins and I have won approximately Zero off all of them. :)

It is a downward spiral they have created.
The RTP has got lower and lower and so people deposit less and less and so the RTP gets lower and lower and so ... well you get the picture.

Seriously I can not remember the last deposit that yielded over 80% RTP!
My recent efforts have been at MG Casinos and my last deposit was at Gaming Club which returned 47% playing low variance slots!
My previous deposits with them faired little better.
These figures are the cold reality of what many people experience.
Or maybe I am just getting unluckier and unluckier and the RTP is 95%. :p

Either way I will not be making even small deposits from now on - it has got beyond a joke.
I mean I can't even get 5 minutes entertainment off a £20 deposit low rolling at 18p a spin anymore.
I swear I can not imagine even how to win it is that bad and that sort of return would of been virtually impossible a few years ago (I never experienced it in hundreds of deposits) but now it is a regular theme.
Go figure.

I think more and more long term players are cutting back or going back to land based casinos. A poll maybe.:D

I'm not familiar with that one. Got a proper link?

They are part of the rank group and are associated with Grovenor Casinos.
They are licensed in Alderney.
Unfortunately I just checked their sign up page and US is not listed.
That probably means no US, sorry I should of checked earlier.

www.gcasino.com

Other places that accept low minimum deposits are (not sure which accept US)

Grand Virtual Casinos - I think they have a $5 min deposit.

I haven't been depositing much lately. The deposits are gone in a matter of minutes and the small wins don't even cover the spin bet usually. I played T-Rex last week, won 8 free spins and won...NOTHING! Won a 25 free spin round on Warlocks spell and won $3.00 (took me 52 spins@ .40/spin to win that HUGE amount). I'm lucky if I can play 30 minutes, the typical session is usually only 5-10 minutes though (and this is betting .20 and .40/spin).

So, I have been investing my money in a patio and perennial garden. My daughter and I have had lots of fun shopping various places for "clearance" priced plants (I bought 18 plants for under $50). AND the beauty will last way longer than any deposit and is more satisfying and enjoyable in the long run.

We're going on vacation to NJ at the end of the month and usually stop in AC, so I'm saving my money for that. May be I'll be luckier than I've been playing online lately.

Im with you on this one Rusty, i havent deposited much at all in the last few months. I used to win and lose, ok ok more often lose than win lol but i still used to win, now i cant even remember the last time and it doesnt really matter which platform either. So until the casinos and the industry wise up that their only killing themselves off slowly ill be abstaining a lot more :)

I think for the last couple of years with the ability to advertise on uk television and with all the marketing drives theyve been doing, they have been exsiting on new customers and sodding the old. As it is with most places and most things, loyal existing customers get none of the benefits they use to entice new customers in. If you think about it its true. `join us and your first 5 deposits get 100 % your deposit bonuses` crap. Whoohoo so people join then then when the offers expire they leave and go onto another casino offering new sign up bonuses or free chips. Casinos ned to realise and learn in my opinion that its EXISTING, LOYAL customers that make them their bread and butter, but they dont and i think new customers are running out............. hence the scrabble for the business your seeing now.

Ultimately though, never let someone win = eventually losing them. Nobody feeds a cash cow for ever!

The only casino deposits i have made in over 1 year have been 2 times to 3 dice, 1 for $18 and 1 for $50 and they lasted all of 3 seconds at .75 spins. I started feeling the casinos just didn't care about us anymore, really they just wanted our deposits and it was worse if you were American like me. Thats when i switched over to the virtual poker rooms and in that year i am up $300 playing micro stakes and big tournies. To me its a safer bet, if you stay away from the known problem sites then the decent ones are really good, they get their take off the top and so they don't have a vested interest in who wins, its all about your skill level and to me thats fair and fun

I deposited a few times back in late winter/early spring.... the fact that my wittle bank roll disappeared in no time, making modest deposits (usually $25 - $50), and no play time (5 - 20 minute sessions playing only .20 - .50 bets) only served to remind me why I don't play anymore.

And as I keep saying.... if it's not fun, and it's something I decide whether I do it or not, then, dammit, why do it?? So I don't.

I haven't even opened an online casino since the fiasco with Betpheonix. I never stopped enjoying the games. I've only ever had a couple of different casinos installed on my computer at any given time and after dumping the last couple off, installing a new one and loading my prepaid card just seems like more work than it's worth. Maybe I will eventually but for a while now I just can't be bothered. I never made huge deposits anyway so I don't think any of them will miss me much.
