Are Microgaming slots special?

Hi, after a long hiatus here, I found my browser still had the pwd saved for this forum , so here it goes:

Are MG slots special?
I ask because this June I turned a 20 Euro deposit into just shy of 10.000 Euro.

I have a hard time imagining these happening on any other slots.
Of course, these is a rare thing for MG as well, obviously, BUT I had at least one other
sub 100 EUro deposit this year turning into over than 2.000 Euro.

And yes, because I'm rather compulsive I gambled it away the next day ( )
but I guess that's just how it goes.

What I'm trying to get at: Would these be even possible on NETENT?


PS: Oh, I forgot: I hit the 5 diamonds x 5xwild multiplier on a 3.60 Euro bet on BDBA.
A line hit worth close to 4000k. Came totally out of the blue.
I will never be these lucky again, right?

Perhaps you just hit the right slot at the right time, being an extremely high-variance one at that!

With Netent, it only seems to be possible on one game, and we all know what that is. I can't envisage depositing £20 on their games and ending up with 10k on anything other than DOA, wheras with MG I feel that it's possible to do on several of their games.

Netent variance won't allow it!

You would get 3,000 Euros for 5 Sapphires/Wild on BDBA at 3.60

Anyway IGT can do this, raise stakes after winning and still keep on winning, I turned £50 into 6.4k on Cleopatra once! Ask Jasminebed who made over 100k!!! on IGT.

WMS seem the opposite - unlike any other software I have seen, win big, raise stake and you WILL lose, the RTP curve will drop like a stone - guaranteed.

Netent you can win big on and stay winning.

Anyone else turning €20 into €10K would withdraw and be singing and dancing in the street - and you just blew it all away???
You don't deserve that good luck - it should go to someone who really appreciates it.

That sort of result would make my year, maybe even decade lol.

The best part is if that day ever comes when one of my lowly £20/£25 deposits turned into £10.000, 99% of it would be spent/used on None Gambling stuff.

Treat the kids, family etc, some away for a rainy day, replace my long ago exhausted 'emergency pot' and treat my poor and suffering mother who is like a rock for me.

I would take comfort from being sensible with the 'newly acquired wealth' although not life changing and lie in my bed at night well pleased with what I had done / plan to do with the dosh.

I would not forgive myself, nor be able to ever get it out of my head if I'd blown it back or re-deposited excessive amounts elsewhere, not that this would be a problem as this eventuality would not even be part of my 'to do' list.

Last thing I was also do is publicly admit it either

I wouldn't say Microgaming (MG) slots are special, there are a number of slots from other developers that will deliver a win this big from such a small starting stake.

MG have a massive back catalogue of slots, more than anyone else. However most of them are copies of other MG slots, they have just been re-skinned. There are a handful of slots in there portfolio that are excellent, but you will probably see from many threads at this forum that they just seem to have lost there way in recent years. Haven't seen anything decent from them since Terminator 2 / Jurassic Park, which is a long time!

It does beggar belief. How someone could blow 10K with suck apathy really

No way would anyone in their right mind let that opportunity slip, I'd imagine 8k of that would be tucked away somewhere, a grand for frivilous purchases and the last grand would be used to fund at least a month's worth of gambling, assuming I'll ever beat that 'high' to begin with.

Understandable to reverse or blow a couple of hundred with the aim of getting something decent. Once you get there mind, it's just plain foolhardy to spunk it back

These days I feel kind of stranded: I know that you can't be slots longterm but of course there are some things you can do:
Eg., you play at 10x , or 100x your usual denomination. Get a good hit (or a few) and you might recopurate your losses.

That's what happened to me with my 10.000 Euro session: I not only got back my 7 grand I lost on slots during the last 15 months,
I also made 3.000 Euros that were truely won, ie. money I dind't have before I played the slots.

Now, I'm not sure If this might not happen again? Should I keep playing? Or should I better call it quits?
Can someone elucidate the odds of this thing happening again?
And if it is really so incredibly unlikely to happen, why did it happen to me then

We all have those sessions where we feel invincible. The only difference is that you bet 3.60, wheras I bet 36p

To call it skill is rather optimistic....and although you did really well to get to 10k, to lose it again shows how our luck can turn!

I was strange: When I had the money I just couldn't think of any use for it.
