Anyone seen this Facebook real casino?

Old / Expired Link
got this from a promo on facebook plays real money with usa 100 percent legal-is this where advertising casinos are going?

I'd proceed with care here. Same software as CasinoVal I think and some of the games are blatant rip-offs of games from IGT and Aristocrat. "Runnin' Wild" looks like Wolf Run, "American Wild" looks similar to Siberian Storm, "Arctic Wolf" looks almost exactly like Arctic Fox (!), "101 Lions" looks like Aristocrat's 100 Lions!

Also, I can't see any mention of licensing or even the name of the company behind the site. Even the T&C's don't appear to say who you are dealing with or under what jurisdictional law.

And then there's this:

"This is a lawful sweepstakes promotion and can NOT be used as a traditional casino"

On the plus side, they do provide a very useful page entitled "How To Win" :)

The domain has also only been registered for 1 year (exp: 2013-04-11). At GoDaddy. And anonymously of course. Surely if you are setting up a long-term business you'd register your domain for more than 1 year?!

Sorry but this site has red flags all over the place. If you ever had a problem I can't see what you could do about it. Not least because everybody will be too busy pointing at you and laughing.

EDITED TO ADD:
This is probably a good time to remind anyone that when you are dealing with a website that asks you for your personal data and/or financial information you should know - and understand - who you are dealing with. It's particularly pertinent with gambling sites (and even more so with US-facing ones in the current climate) but it's true for any website. Well, obviously not for p*rn. Just make sure your webcam's off.

What Simmo! said. This has "rip-off" written all over it. The games are blatant rip offs from IGT (IGT has reps in the forum thus they will be alerted). If they are willing to rip off a company like IGT, how do you think they will deal with their customers; how do you think they will treat your private info?

The website claims to be 100% legal in the States - yet there is absolutely no information about this company on the website.

I would advise everyone to stay clear of this dodgy enterprise.

thanks everyone for the info- i didnt notice the 1 year thing .
my question though is this the way to advertise now through facebook?
why couldnt jackpot capital group or club world do the same thing? is it legal?(having a casino through facebook and then having plastered everywhere play now for real)

Besides the other red flags, the other thing is it is "sweepstakes" not random. Sweepstakes is how they are trying to skirt around the laws. Think of sweepstakes cafes. People think they are playing slots, random games, they are NOT.

How can it be US BASED and 100% legal? It says in the fine print that it is for people in the US only but it is managed by a company in Belize. It also says the cleo website is used to promote virtualspree.com. This does not look good. This reminds me of the convenient stores around here with video poker machines that say you cant redeem tickets for cash, prizes only. And they are always getting shut down.

I took the plunge

Of course I'm dumb, I decided to give it a whirl because the games looked cool. I deposited 3x for a total of around $120, took a bonus and then asked questions  Anyway got it up to over $700, loved the fairy game however it took a plunge and went to zero. BTW it was a 30x WR with no max cash out. When you are able, you cash out, it sits in the account for 2 days, then they said you would receive an email to send ID. Then you get a check by fed ex. Total turn around time is 5-11 business days. So...I thought, I will deposit one more time and won't use a bonus...now here is the kicker...YOU CAN'T...You have to use a bonus, it will not allow you to not use one. I chatted with support for over 30 minutes (which they do not answer very well, no disrespect but poor English skills...they speak it but don't understand it). I loved the games but I don't like having to take a bonus. I guess I will steer away :(

Some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the online gaming industry give you the advice above, and you still went and deposited?

I know its a free world, but I'm just dumbfounded.

I really thought you were smarter than that BB. You wasted $120 finding out what you were already told for free.

Anyway, this is a case where the software COULD be rigged to let you win for a while and take it all back before WR is met.....the forced bonus policy is a good indication of that possibility.

Warning to anyone else thinking this "100% USA legal" casino is worth a shot......***STAY AWAY***

Hi Nifty Lou Lou :) honestly I said I was dumb because I jumped into it before I read CM's remarks. I had seen it on FB, and I had read the beginning of this thread, but really didn't read everything. Yep I wasted my money however I have noone to blame but me. :) Now I am sad because I feel you are disappointed in me. :( Seriously...I do pay a lot of attention in here, however sometimes I get so darned tempted. :o

Hey.....no way.....I'm not disappointed in you at all. Geez everyone makes mistakes, especially me!

I just hate to see CM members being ripped off, particularly nice ones like you :)

Just take it as a learning experience.

Cleos Vip Rom

Hello everyone! :) I am new here and wish I would have discovered your place here a lot sooner!!! I did deposit at CleosVipRoom and I wish it had been for $100.00, but It was not. Multiply that times 50. I guess you could say "SUCKER/STUPID" is written on my forehead. My total highest winning balance at one point was $39,000.00. They sent me tax forms, etc. but I was only allowed to cash out $2500.00 at a time, in a 7 day period and then was suppose to post date each tax form one week after another for $2500.00 until the balance was paid to me in full. Well here's where the "REALLY STUPID" part comes in. I cashed it out and left money in my account to play on.....Well lost that, so then I went and started canceling my payout request, one at a time. This one machine took $30,000.00 from me. I know your thinking "STUPID~STUPID~" I kept thinking this machine has got to hit something. There's no way a person can put that much money in one machine without it hitting anything. I know "DUMB~STUPID~DUMB"!!
As for the virtual spree credits that you receive when you deposit, I have gotten quite a few things in the mail that I've ordered from them with my "FREE CREDITS" haha. The items I got were nice, but I've only ordered 9 purses. real leather, supposedly from Italy. Anyway, this probably wasn't the best way to introduce myself, with a crazy story like that, but it's the truth. Thanks to all for the advice, just wish I had found you guys sooner!! :o Have a great day!
sincerely,
"Dumb & Stupid" lol

minor/irrelevant(maybe?) detail, but max cashout from cleos vip room is $2,000 per week max, so I dont know if thats enough to say fake or not, but maybe you might have not remember correctly?

This highlights one of the issues with gambling on social platforms: it potentially exposes inexperienced players to casinos with dubious terms. Back in the day, when I started playing online, I never even considered an online casino would have had a maximum cashout limit - not a low one anyway. $2000/$2500 a week is the stuff of amusement arcades, not casinos.

Sadly, I think as this trend grows we will see many more similar experiences here on Meister unless the social platforms have the intelligence to do their own regulation and set strict terms. But I doubt to be honest, that they understand half of the potential pitfalls that await.

It is $2000.00 a week, but they sent me an e-mail (which I still have) saying that since I had won a large amount of money that they would allow me to do $2500.00 a week instead of the $2000.00. The funny thing is, usually when a person deposits small or large amounts of money at most places, that they are always giving you or sending you no deposit coupons to show their customer appreciation for you, in order to keep you coming back. At Cleo's, they are very tight and stingy with giving no deposit bonuses to depositing customers; even if you deposit large amounts of money. Doesn't matter to them. They would rather give out a free $5.00 to $7.00 to everyone on face book, then to a depositing customer. Who I feel like should get treated based on their deposits and wagering status, something geared more towards the individual. just my opinion, and you know what they say about those. lol

why are their cashout limits? I can see for usa but not for where its 100% legal. Is it cash flow, that seems doubtful. I think its they want players to lose it back.

Even our land casino will cut a check for $50k (or even give you cash if you want) no problem and even take the taxes out. I would think
the uk is similar?

I agree with you to an extent, but imo, but no casino, online or in real life, really owes anybody playing anything, win or lose, etc. The fact that they give anything at all is always a nice surprise, but yes, they did used to be much more generous with their no deposits, but I think due to a large influx of players since this year started, just like most anything I've noticed, they give less because there are more players to cater to?

I'm just wondering what you're trying to say in your posts.

Is it just your story or are you blaming the casino for something or....?

Surely you knew about the payout limits before you played? If you had been patient, you would have been $34k richer in a few months. I just can't fathom throwing all that money away....I wouldn't care if it took a year I would wait for it all to be paid. I assume you're a heavy hitter, as most players would consider that money life changing in many cases.
