Just curious if anybody has been playing at Bodog recently and if so, are you getting paid?

I have made 2 withdrawals in the last 2 weeks and am patiently waiting for the checks to arrive. I asked to be paid via money transfer, but was told that I would be paid by check as I didn't deposit via money transfer. Now it takes 15 business days to receive the check where in December and January I had my checks within 5-7 days of my requested withdrawals.

Quite frankly, I prefer not to be paid with a check as there seems to be alot of casino checks bouncing recently.

Bodog did go through a stretch towards the end of '07 where they were paying players rather quickly. I was one of those players that received a check in under 8 business days. Unfortunately they're back to their old tricks again.

Bodog will never change. They're apparently not looking for any new forms of withdrawals, nor are they looking to add another processor, or switch from the one they have now. This is a piss-poor business model, and they're certainly losing my business because of it. I haven't played there for 2 months now.

I have always been paid fairly quickly. I usually do pretty well when I play there. I don't play there very often because they don't have any decent withdrawal methods (IMO). I surely don't like waiting a month for a check to arrive and then have to wonder whether the check is gonna bounce or not.

I guess I'll have to stay away from there for a while... hopefully they will wise up in the near future and find new ways to pay their players. (Wishful thinking?)

Bodog is actually 1 of 2 online casinos that I'm actually ahead at, overall. It really kills me that they cannot (read: won't) pay players as fast as others can and will. If other casinos can get a check to you in a matter of a few days, then why can't (won't) everyone else?

They really pissed me off last fall when they still had their "up to 21 business days" policy to get a check to you. I, as well as a few others here at CM, received our checks on the 21st business day. Not the 20th, not the 22nd. That says a lot right there. I'm sure that everyone lived in a different part of the USA (it may take FedEx 2 days to get to me, but 3 for another, etc), so I can say with certainty that they schedule it so people will get their checks at their latest convenience (keep your money as long as they can without going over the stated wait time), and it's not based on how backlogged they are.

The UIGEA is pretty much useless (Has a bank been busted yet for allowing gambling transactions?) but yet 90% of online casinos are using this as an EXCUSE to stall payments.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be waiting until the 15th business day for my check(s).

Aren't these "slow paying" casinos losing players because of these unnecessary and deliberate delays in payments? I for one have decided to not play at these casinos that cannot (won't) pay in a timely fashion. I also won't play at the casinos where my only withdrawal option is by check. They are able to process my deposits quickly, then they should be able to pay me just as quickly.

My recent withdrawal from Bodog was approved on February 9th, a Saturday. So 15th business day (15 of the Monday to Friday days) was February 29th, a Friday. I didn't get it on the 29th BUT I DID receive the check the next day, Saturday March 1st. So I didn't get my check on the 15th business day BUT I did get it before the 16th business day!:D

Still no check

It has now been 16 business days since my withdrawal at Bodog was approved and still no check. Of course, I have emailed Bodog and received the normal reply..."its out of our hands, its the processors...blah,blah, blah...rest asured you will receive your money soon."

Gawd,,, I am so damn sick and tired of all these Casinos continuously passing the buck saying it is out of their hands, etc. etc. bla, bla, bla....,,,it is the Casinos that Are Responsible since They Are The One that hires the Processor's...they should be doing the same background check on the Processor that they do on their customers...To All Casino Managers:...Check out the Processor thoroughly (meaning: without negligence or omissions) first before you decide to put your customers money in their hands,, make sure that they will process Your Transaction's Promptly, Efficiently, Courteously and Most of all FAST for all of your customers !!!

I swear these Casinos trying to pass the buck saying that it is in the Processors hands now is like saying to the IRS that your Tax Return is out of your control now and is in your accountants hands and they need to take that matter up with him and just see how damn far that will get you !!!

Anyone else seeing the Bodog Commercials on TV? All the money customers aren't getting is likely paying the lofty bill for the for the on-air commercial advertising. I wonder what their payout % is on the games these days? :p

For me the payout WAS very good but then it all changed I think near Christmas, this used to be my favorite casino, I would hit all the time and I was up for a long time, until I went through a week where I spent a lot of money, and all of a sudden after that I never hit anything, I mean nothing! I have since stopped playing there. I received my last measly check from them (after waiting 3 weeks) last month I think. I haven't deposited since.

Back in February, the payout time at Bodog was 15 business days. From May to the present, the payout time is 20-25 business days. However, my second check for $2,500 is going on 40 business days since May 11th when it was approved by Bodog. Two weeks ago, they said the check "was in production" whatever that means and I should expect it within two weeks. Well, two weeks have passed so they said "At this time we will be contacting our Ecommerce Departments to determine when you should expect the check. "

I am beginning to think that the current economic situation is affecting online casinos' cash flow, at least at Bodog. The waiting period for receiving the payout checks has gotten longer this year as noted above.

I'm thinking that the number of people who play/gamble for entertainment on online casinos is trailing off in this bad economic climate. So this means the online casinos' cash flow is being squeezed.

Westland Bowl,

Not all RTG casinos are having any trouble. Casino World pays within 24 hrs. to QT and Inetbet is even quicker.

I used to play at Bodog too until it started to become difficult to make a deposit, pre UIGEA even, and I started reading problems that other players have.

I sincerely hope you get your money. You are way more patient than I am. :D

I've noticed that Inetbet and Rushmore Casinos, both RTG, had QuickTender/UseMyWallet as deposit/withdrawal options. I thought that QuickTender was a Microgaming operation. Anyway, just wished Bodog had QT! :(

I try to give a benefit of a doubt to the casinos and wait a couple of more days. But this one, today would be business day 41, is waaaay too looong to wait before saying something on CM.

Whether the casinos and processors realize it or not, they're losing players not only due to UIGEA, but due to their own problems in paying US players. It's not just the UIGEA mess, it's the miscommunication, noncommunication and overall 'out of our hands' attitude once they send the WD to the processor that gets our back up. They're cutting their own throats and blaming the UIGEA and the processors.

Apparently, I'm not the only one getting extremely late payments from Bodog. See

This guy said that Bodog told him that they are behind in payments and it is now a 40-business-day wait! A couple of other guys mentioned they still haven't gotten their May withdrawals from Bodog! Something is going on over there and it's not good. The Bodog representative here hasn't visited CM here since May 12th, the day after my withdrawal from Bodog was approved!

Today marks the 41st business day (not counting Memorial Day and Independence Day) since my withdrawal was approved and I still haven't received it.

Why in the world would any US player play at BODOG? They are purposely taking advantage of the US situation. If Bodog was truely interested in it's US players. They would open a QT account and allow money to be deposit and withdrawn there in a timely manner. They are just using US players for quick deposit. And using their losses to pay others players. If you do manage a US cashout. They may send you a bad check and blame it on the processor. When they was just using the money to pay peter. AVOID BODOG!

Today marks the 42nd day I haven't received my payout but Bodog sent an email stating that they are not able to process my payout via the Check By Mail option. I guess the 3rd party processor went by that name.

They gave a couple of other options so I chose Rapid Transfer. They mentioned that they will give me a 20% bonus up to $300 but I'm not sure if that is if I canceled the payout.

So the payout processing delays may not be totally Bodog's fault since the processor didn't do their job for some reason.

We'll see how the Rapid Transfer route does.
