hi casinomeister

do you have any thoughts on gpwa (gambling portal webmasters association)
i was under the impression that they were big and legit untill i read this thread:

The GPWA is not legally registered, incorporated, licensed etc as an association; it is a message board owned and operated by one person with input from volunteers.

The thread on startcasino does give you an idea of what you'd be dealing with.

Hi Ashlar9,

The GPWA could be a very powerful and influential entity, but due to some managerial misguidance, this group has failed to be so.

I had a falling out with this group last April mainly because we had a conflict of philosophies when it comes to promoting online casinos. This was explained here in my newsletter which freaked a lot of people out. Especially some of the hardcore GPWAers.

Little do some people know...(I've told a few), that the "Gulf War II" was in full swing then, and I was freaking out a bit on my own, dealing with some personal issues (I'm a Gulf War I vet) and perhaps some of my PTSD was being vented out on the GPWA. But nevertheless, that's water under the bridge.

I defended myself here

And here:

Vortran had his comments here:
Casinomeister Webcasts
May 1st webcast (it's pretty funny)

And I made some observaces of the GPWA in Montreal here:

In a nutshell, this group could be highly effective if they could keep some of their more colorful members from posting on other people's message boards. It's pretty damn unprofessional. They also need to set up their business in a more legitimate manner for any one to take them seriously. Right now, they are under new management, so hopefully this is a sign that some productive changes are in the works.

Interesting!

Bryan's post is informative, well thought out, and interesting, including his thoughts on the GPWA as an entity in the online gaming industry.

Mary's post, on the other hand, is nothing but another tired attempt at "taking a shot" at Cindy.

Gee Mary, I really thought you were beyond this. Apparently, you aren't.

Mary, your post offered nothing of value, and is misleading and obviously biased by your ongoing grudge with the GPWA and Cindy, going back to the old OPA days.

Get over it, Mary. Enough is enough. She hasn't commented or mentioned you in a long while. Yet you "still" bring shit up.

You disappoint me.

is there anything about her post that is untrue?

anyways i didnt want to open a can of worms.

??
I thought everyone knew this.
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

It's been posted for a while, and I was surprised that there wasn't another round of GPWA conspiracy postings at WOL and elsewhere. Cindy has stepped down as manager, and now it's Wildbill at the reigns. Good luck Bill! It's unclear whether or not this is only temporary, but I still see Cindy doing the message board thing (from referred links in this thread).

It would really help if they would do this.

gasp!! jetset, you gettin' old? or just too busy? smile

I think this all was posted around the 20th of month everywhere.

Now Jetset is referring to himself in the first person plural, so perhaps he's suffering from multiple personalities.

Farbeit for me to defend Cindy but - let's have it right.

First off Bryan you were right i guess by leaving the gpwa but you joined and wanna read the small print next time before you join up to anywhere again. No kudos from me for leaving because the rules ain't changed since you joined, or left. I am slightly pissed you ever joined to be frank.

Secondly the Cindy is allowed to defend herself all day long if she feels to and has put a link to here yes, as she is on the right side of righteous in my eyes to do. If she posted here she'd get popped at for posting on another boards apart from her own.

Last up and off topic while i'm here any more references in newsletters or webcasts taking the michael by you even slightly Bryan out of the resident messageboard dwellers as a portal owner who runs his own forum for said messageboard dwellers to post on i might actually physically puke.

Let's have it right and done.

Huh??

Hi amanadajm,

When I was invited to join the GPWA, it was run MUCH differently than it was when I left; there there wasn't any fine print. But nevertheless, it's all water under the bridge as far as I am concerned.

Exactly, residentally it's become I can for the meaning, but whenever the forum OR webcasts have throughly been this way, I can build this and my meanderings posted. Not included is the newsletter obviously dwelled upon with.

LMAO!! Oh wait...I get it! Meister cryptograms?! LOL!

No plural for the class A. 2 lines of cokes ?

& i won't be beating a drum over and over and the words are just about understandable so an explanation of them is unnecissary.

I am aware it's your site and you built it and the newsletters and webcasts have always been in the same style, makes no difference to taking the piss out of posters while owning a forum.
