Hello,

I have been practicing for some time at the Pokerstars.com site that shows Tournaments on Cable TV.
They gave us play money and I really learn a lot in the past 3 months.
I think I am ready to play for real money, but First, I will like to hear fron the Casinomeister what will be your advice, since they are not listed as good or otherwise,

Thanks and I'll be waiting for your answer,

Dr. Carlos:thumbsup:

Poker Stars is the best poker room out there. They not only are the busiest but have the best support and if you are in the U.S. they have among the softer games compared to other U.S. friendly rooms. They also have the best support in the industry. They have over double the traffic of the #2 poker room as well. IMO you can't go wrong with Poker Stars.

Pokerstars was the first poker site I ever used back in 2001.
After that I drifted off to various others sites with superior software, but many of these were decimated but the USA fiasco and not enough players led to not enough of the games I enjoy (mostly Omaha Hi/Lo).
So I have now come full-circle and am back at PS - just about the only site I use now.
I've never had any problems with them and agree with Pokeraddict - totally trustworthy!

YES YES.

Pokerstars is surely a BIG and beautiful room.

But to win money, there are FAR FAR better places (on low and med level). At Pokerstars is competion is relativly high. The only advantage is that there are soooo many players and tables.

But there are many other rooms and networks that have a very big player count too and where you can find nearly everey time a table where people throw away their money (like 1/2 limit Hold'em with 20+ $ pot average !!!).

Look for iPoker and OnGame skins (unbel. fishi)

Of course, if you are a US player you have to look different maybe. The peak times at Full Tilt for example suit far better for US than OnGame. And if the room accepts US.

I signed up at Stars, but after a time of playing I recognized that I make 3 times more per hour at the fishi loose networks.

Then, there are nice sites on the net where you can look for game softness and all bonusses a.s.o. I think I can't tell here ?

Poser, U.S. friendly rooms often have pot sizes 50-70% the size of Ongame, iPoker, Everest and Party. U.S. friendly sites draw few outside of the U.S. leaving game quality very low in most cases. That makes this image that I believe was on Nordic Bet even harder to understand.

That being said, there's far more worse players in the USA than other countries...:D

ps, love that picture that NB had up

But U.S. fish have a lot of hoops to jump through to deposit that players outside the US don't have to bother with. This prevents many from playing at all even though a few sportsbook poker rooms have some good games.
