Hi All,
Just for clarification, i want to reiterate that this is not an email sent by the casino - rather sent by an affiliate (as you stated).
So your complaint (question) is how he got your business email in the email lists he has.
And this is a question, we have no answer to as these are his lists, not ours.
As I told you in an email, though, we have asked the affiliate to remove your email from his lists - which he promptly did.
Thanks - Marcia
This is exactly what I tried to explain to Marcia by e-mail.Hi Marcia,
Please ask whether or not this affiliate is using a spam list, or had KK opted in to his list. I'm guessing it's probably a list this affy had either purchased or scraped off of the web. If it's a spam list, he ought to be shut down. Letting these guys operate is unfair to webmasters who abide by "no spam" policies via proper opt-in. Casinomeister's newsletter is double opt in and I believe this is the standard.
Affiliate spam is still a massive problem for this industry and needs to be stopped.
