A Question about "Luck"

Ok guys...I have a question regarding luck. I'm not here to put any casino down; I just really want to get the thoughts of others. My story...I have played at a certain casino for the last few years. I have had some bad times, yet I have had some good hits there. I love the games and I like the people. Although I have played and still do play at other places occasionally, I have mainly played at this one place for awhile. I have noticed over the course of the last year that my "luck" seems to be getting worse as time goes by. I am a serious player; no I don't play 20k in a month but I normally play close to 4k a month...sometimes more, sometimes less. I had a win there the first week of September for appx 2k and except for a win of about 650 I have not had anything that amounted to anything....yet since September I have roughly put in about 8k...maybe a little more. Is this what you guys would consider normal? I think what has bothered me is the fact that there has not been any substantial wins in 2 months....and honestly very little play. You can put in $100 and it can be gone in 5 minutes. I know this has to do with variances, bet amounts, etc, however my bet amount is not very high. No, I don't low roll on 40 or 60 cents but the average bet is $1 to $2. Another thing I want to add is that I have noticed that when I do win a substantial win, it is long between times before I can hit anything at all. This is another confusing thing to me; if something is truly based on "luck" then why is it when there is a cash out the luck abandons me? I'm not accusing anyone of anything or questioning the integrity of the casino...I guess I would like to make sense of it all. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If you all believe this is just a case of bad luck...anyone have any lucky spells to cast on me?? I want to also add that is seems that there is a pattern of the same people winning over and over again. Of course, I don't know how much they put in, nor is it my business, however I can't help but to wonder why or better yet...how?

I reckon the social casino is 3 Dice and there variance is closer to Novomatic than Micro Gaming so a pint off drought is expected every session and this leads to doubt.

When I play MG download I play pretty much the same slots and get the same results just need them to be mostly positive to win.

The MG 9 liners Ladies Night, Spring Break etc have been tweaked at least 3 times as far as I go back that I know, all off the sudden everyone feels the lower RTP or don't make it to the expected RTP? (Tin foil hat?) But it happened...

A nice cashout or a few in a row every now again is all we ask so we can go buy some sick expensive treat for ourselves.

Residing in the USA your choices are few and far between I'm sure off that you know, don't know how you cope to be honest.

In my brief stint playing slots over the last four years there has been a noticeable decline in luck and increase in variance.

The last year's been criminal for gameplay, and games are behaving very strangely indeed.

Case in point being those lovable 9-liners....they're completely different beasts now. From being 'just to the right' of medium variance, they've gone full-blown HV across the board. These used to be very reliable, with maybe one dud session out of three. Now, it's more like nine out of ten session are doomed to fail

When in a good mood they can go on blistering runs, but that is very rare now. I had about five bonus rounds under 8x bet in a row recently, something you'd never see before.

Other games have gone to pot too and I can only go on what I see. I'm unconvinced that software providers haven't nerfed their games, and providers choose not to disclose their methods. So less a case of bad luck, more being cheated whenever I push spin

I agree there is very slim pickings indeed for the USA. You are either stuck not winning or your winnings are capped for a weekly or monthly payout. Luck is a real thing

For me luck is a real thing. I can actually feel it and know i'm going to win. ( you can put on your foil hat now). But seriously it has always worked that way for me. I have been extremely lucky with everything in my life. Whenever things seemed real bad something good always happens to fix it.

I'll give you a current example:

I really "felt" that the Patriots would win the Super Bowl when they were down 28-3. I even set out my Patriots shirt to wear to work on Monday. On Monday morning I still could "feel" like my luck was running good so I bought a lottery ticket on my way to work and won $100. Tuesday I still "felt" like the luck was running strong so I deposited $40 and cashed out $400.

I still play even when I don't have that strong feeling and sometime win and sometimes lose, but when that feeling is strong I usually win or something good happens.

I have noticed that there are some winner combinations in some slots and you win a little beat but the bet is big so soon you began loosing and waiting for the luck but it never comes again

Well I don't know what has happened lately but my luck has been the Pits!! I have deposited nightly into 3dice...nothing...not even a few minutes of play time. Sorry your play is bad. I see you have two threads going talking mostly about losing. Somewhat gloomy to read both of these.

You have mentioned playing daily. If you play daily you will never be ahead. Remember the house always has the edge. In reality, the person that only plays a few times a year and can win in a couple sessions are the few that will be ahead. It is extremely rare to see someone who gambles excessively finish ahead.

If it's horrific maybe it's time to take a break and fill the time you would normally gamble with another hobby. I hate to see people donating money when getting ahead is almost impossible, believe me I speak from experience.

I know that is an unrealistic goal; however when your deposits got straight to zero within a very few minutes...it gets hard. There is nothing much to do around here and I guess I just like playing when the games actually play for awhile.
