The message on the deposit page is:

This service will be back shortly, sorry for the inconvenience.

It has been like this for hours now. Last time I saw a very similar message was when Big Casino suspended operations.

I tried live chat for more info but they weren't responding.

Hey.

I asked their Norwegian support now, and they were not familiar with any problems, so not sure whats up :)

perhaps its a problem with the payment method you try to use. internetbanking systems can get a little busy this time of the year

Very weird. Just tried again and still getting the same 'back shortly' msg. However I did get hold of live chat this time, and this is what was said...

Fredrik: Hi! Welcome to 7red. How may I help you?
Juicyfruit: Hi....on the deposit page, I see a msg saying 'This service will be back shortly, sorry for the inconvenience.' It has been like this for hours now, What is going on?
Fredrik: It should be up within an hour according to our finance department
Fredrik: That's the latest that I've heard
Juicyfruit: what is the problem?
Fredrik: That I do not know. All I heard was that it will be up within an hour

Yes, that is a bit strange as I was told they had no problems. Keep us updated

Getting the runaround from support

Contacted support 3 hours after first advised deposit system would be back up in the hour.

This time, told that no-one else had reported the problem, and that it was probably due to a browser/cache issue on my PC. Now I fail to understand how such a specific message as 'This service will be back shortly, sorry for the inconvenience' can possibly be related to my browser/cache.

However...

Support ('Frederik' again) made no reference to the Finance department doing any investigation into this issue, so as he suggested, I cleared out my cache, and rebooted.

Expected result? No change. I even tried different browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox).

Two hours ago (five hours now and counting), I received the following email:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

I just spoke to our finance department who assured me that the payment providers will be up again in 20 minutes.

Ah...so the Finance department is involved again, I see. BUT....the 'back shortly' msg is still in play.

This really does remind me of Big Casino, when I was constantly told by support that it was a technical issue that was being addressed, and we all know what happened there.

If anyone has an account with 7Red, can you see if you are also getting the 'back shortly' msg on the deposit option page? If so, I think 7Red are being economical with the truth here as to what is really going on.

I just logged in to my account at 7Red.

Got this msg when i chose credit card option to deposit: This service will be back shortly, sorry for the inconvenience.

But the other methods seem ok to me.

Ah....so the credit card payment processor is the only one they are having trouble with. Typical - that is the one I use.

Guess I will have to use my old, amost forgotten Skrill account then.

Thanks Sapit, for point out the obvious.... that I couldn't see... :eek2: I definitely shoulda gone to specsavers.....

Hi sorry now we are on about a "7" casino. Anyone know about other casino called Win7 Casino?? I have got good affiliate offer from them. But can't seem to find a lot about them. And can not see anything here at Casinomeister.

I did do some questions for them. I complained as I have seen some "spam" emails from their casino. Was told it was from an affiliate and not them. I found it strange no tags in them.

Also in regards to their name "Win7" Would that not be to close for Microsoft? As Win7 is short for Windows 7.

What is peoples opinion on this? Any help would be appreciated :)

Maybe you should resist.

This is one bullshit statement after another. Finance already knew there was an issue, then they didn't, then they did, and then they didn't again. You were also the "only person who had reported this", even though finance had supposedly been wrestling with the problem for days.

The REAL worry would be a problem with their processor when you withdraw, followed by a similar runaround from CS and finance.

If you have deposited in the past, they will insist on paying back to the card anything you win from a Skrill deposit. This could be a problem since the card processor isn't working but nobody seems to know what is going on. They could insist it IS working, and your withdrawal will just disappear into the ether for days on end before they admit to a problem and put it right.

There are far too many cases where "technical issues" has been used as a cover up excuse for something far more serious, and in the cases of Big casino and Purple Lounge, players were KNOWINGLY being lied to by support under the direction of management.

The longer a critical service is out of order due to a technical issue, the less I am inclined to believe it is the truth.
