I'm a VIP and very regular (daily) player at 7 Sultans casino. Just got this email a few minutes ago:

"As you may be aware, certain unfortunate circumstances have recently affected the ability of parties to process online gaming transactions in certain regions.

This means that we will no longer be able to accept deposits from you.

Even though our ability to accept and transfer funds has been severely impaired, we will endeavor to honor all withdrawal requests as soon as possible.

Your account will remain open for the time being should you wish to play through any remaining balances.

Best regards,
The 7Sultans Team"

I'm shocked! Can we expect this from the other USA-friendly casino's?

expect many more to follow....from royal vegas....

I also rec'd the same email from Royal Vegas. The odd thing is a couple months ago one of the VIP reps said US players would soon have access to all the newer games that we can't play. So much for that.

You have to wonder whether these are individual operators making decisions, or if the software provider - Level 11 notwithstanding - has advised an exit from the US market.

Villento and All Jackpots

Have a few hundred in my account at Villento that I won yesterday. Played all day! I always remove the program due to those pesky kids using my laptop and privacy issues. Went to the website this morning and Poof! Cannot access a link. Submitted a query on the page provided but am not sure if that will even go through.

Christine :(

This getting interesting - we now have similar reports on this regarding:

Rich Reels
Royal Vegas
Villento
Fortune Lounge
Platinum Play and
7 Sultans.

Clearly something going on - possibly as a result of Black Friday.

Do we know why?

I am guessing that the processors are running scared due to the FBI shutting down the big online poker sites. They say they are "tricking the financial institutions" into thinking US players are making purchases other than online gambling and they consider that fraud so this is my guess.

Here is the link that I read if you haven't seen it yet:

Villento is down!

It's official! :( Sent an email this morning & received the following reply:

Hi Christine,

Thank you for taking the time to contact Villento Las Vegas casino!

With reference to your concerns Christine, the casino is currently not processing Purchases in light of recent US restrictions. Unfortunately this has also caused the casino’s webpages to be temporarily down, as updates are made accordingly. This therefore means that no downloads of the casino software can be done at this time.

Please note that these are temporary measures and pending the outcome of negotiations between the casino and the Processing company, we are hoping to have the full service of the casino returned to its original status. We will send notification of such changes via email, please keep a close eye on your inbox.

We do apologize for the inconvenience ad trust that you will continue to have a great day further.

Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact our Helpdesk, we are available 24/7 for your convenience.

Warm regards

Luke

****edited to add that my winnings from yesterday are officially in progress. Will see if they hit QT tomorrow.

I suspect it's more than the processors 'running scared'. The logistics of getting money from 'here' to 'there' and back again has to be something of a nightmare -- further complicated by the DOJ seizing a jillion bank accounts and processor funds. We're not worth the hassle ... or the risk.

Edited to add: I haven't played online in so long, it hadn't occured to me that hubby might still have funds lingering in online poker accounts. He does. Not a lot at any single one, but put it all together... **sigh** He has simply written it off as 'gone'.

This, at least, is encouraging

This was in my inbox this morning from one of my favorite casino's:

Dear Jennifer,

Jennifer, don't let them fool you, this is ONLY if you already have funds in UMW and I was told by someone at Villento they really do not encourage it because there may be a problem cashing out if you win. Just be careful!

As for these casinos, they should go back to in house, that is my opinion. They used to do it this way and , well as for my bank anyway, they don't care where I use my money ;)

ok, someone is confused.., as i got this :

"Dear mike,

We've had some great times at All Slots USA, and we are sorry to inform you that we are shutting our doors.

In order to keep playing without interruption, we have arranged a very special offer for you at Jackpot Capital Casino, our trusted and highly recommended casino partner in the U.S. market.

Get $100 Free by opening a Jackpot Capital account!"

now, that came with a personal code, which i redeemed and made the 60X playthrough...

now to try and figure out how to get them to pay me the $500...

Well Mike, from this email you received, I am also confused now.
Ok I am wondering if this is only Microgaming issues as Jackpot Capital is RTG.
You know, I was wondering why I keep receiving emails inviting me to play at RTG casinos, this is very recently and my email is full of free codes.
Maybe someone can let us know if it is indeed only MG.

Good luck with the 500, hope you get it! Let us know? :)

This seems to be MG who are pulling out....however, I only play on my existing MG accounts because RTG casinos are too slow to pay or dont pay at all....I wont waste my money. MG casinos have always paid me in a very quick manner which is why I deposit with them and the game platform is much much better than the other casinos, imo. MG is my software of choice but now that seems to be over, which upsets me quite a bit. I wont deposit at any RTG casino and I do not like any of the other software. MG casinos seems to have had the best reputation as far as paying out and overall play. It is a shame that it has all come down to people sticking their noses where it certainly doesnt belong.

I usually only use MG as well. I do not like the RTG casinos because you are right, they do have a bad rep.
On the brighter side, though I haven't attempted to deposit since this began, I did a playthrough awhile back at Treasure Mile with a free chip , it took them a week and a half but, they did indeed send me 500.00. The software is ok, might take some getting used to. Not sure if all the GP casinos will be as honest but this one is one to try.
