3Dice & High Variance - The Up Side

Since my first post was pretty much a bitch-fest about how fast you can plow thru your bankroll on the high variance slots over at 3Dice, I thought it would only be fair to post again if and when things went my way. So here goes.

I've had some machines that would seemingly go hundreds of spins without a bonus or even a remotely decent hit, but I've also played a few that were smoking hot. I've blown thru a couple hundred in what seemed like minutes but played hours and hours on fifty bucks. On my best night I deposited $80 and parlayed it into $1300 in no time. Overall I think the machines pay as good as any of the RTG slots do. It's just kind of an all or nothing scenario.

So that being said, I saved the best point for last. And this is what will make me a loyal customer.

I won, and guess what, are you ready, hold onto your seat..............they paid me!

No stalling, endless faxing, unanswered messages, DNA samples, no bullsh*t period. Just an envelope, with cold hard American currency wrapped in a nice thank you note. And it was here in four days including Saturday and Sunday!

That is the way things SHOULD work.

Today I lost

Well, this morning I decided to chase the 10cent OG jackpot. A $5 tourney win, a $35 deposit, and a $5 comp redemption gave me over 5,000 spins at 20cents a pop, a RTP of over 95% and about 4 hours of play.

No jackpot, nor second tier win, but no complaints. Yesterday left me in a cashout position, but it was my choice to play it away. And I had a very long run on staying up, before a downhill slide at bigger bets...

I play 3Dice confident that if I hit that withdrawal button, I am paid promptly, if I take a bonus that no games are restricted (although gamble in slots and double up in VP do not count towards my wagering), and that staff is excellent.

Now if you would just fix it so the software doesn't crash every time I don't get to a bonus round immediately (although things recover admirably) I couldn't be much happier without a jackpot win.

My experience at 3 Dice was great during the first few months/ half year that I played there. I swear the software has memory (witness the new members doing very well in the free tourneys initially), because since my early wins, that pulled me in, I have never hit the same or withdrawn in a year. Don't get overly optomistic after your initial wins would be my words of advice! Can't deny the great customer service, but as others have said, you don't need to throw $$ away to have that experience! Best of luck but watch your deposits!

This seems to be the way it goes at many casinos, be it coincidence or
"software memory", we will never know. That is why if I win big first time playing, I generally wait at least a couple of weeks before redepositing and then I deposit small.

If I lose quickly with no bonus rounds I generally will avoid playing again for a very very long time.

There are some casinos where you can play weekly and win, others, it seems you never win again until you lose-back your previous winnings. Coincidence? I don't really think so.

Just my observations after playing over 5 years at many casinos with different software platforms.

I love getting those envelopes. But actually forgot what they look like.

I think I have won 1 tourny in the last 6 months? I don't really know how long, but I never win. I play a game, look at the leader board and someone already has 10,000. My money goes down just as fast in the tournys as it has been in real money.

I have deposited over and over and over since my jackpot win on Joker and haven't won squat, not even a chance to cashout. My play has been as good as it's been at RTG.

My first expirience with 3dice has been great.

Initial 55$ deposit turned over into 745$.
