3 Dice referals/surprise bonus poll!

Hi All,

I am not looking to send anyone into a tizzy with this, I am wondering what everyone elses experience is so far.
So,, A poll please, and I will explain why.
I had referred many friends to 3dice casino, when I was withdrawing a couple hundred every other week.
They say this on thier site "Tell a Friend about us and cash in on it.
3Dice is proud to offer you and your friend a welcome gift to help you both enjoy all the exciting games available here.
We"ll give you a 10% bonus of your friends first deposits and your referred friends will receive a $25 (or his/her currency equivalent) Welcome Gift. The more your friends purchase, the more money you receive."
I referred a bunch of friends, and we all know most don't deposit much more than $10 or $20 the first time, so I did not expect much from it. Except my friends to have a "winning" place to play!
But, I never heard from 3dice regarding sign ups of my friends. I know for a fact one has depositted. So in Tourney mode the other day I asked "Customer Support" (via live tourney chat) to look into this for me. I had already sent in the email request to support inquiring about referral deposits and received a "ticket" saying "a live person would get back to me soon." (that finally happened today, and thus prompted this post).

In Tourney chat "Anna" reviewed my account to see that "one of my referals did deposit. "But that was only $25 so that is only $2.50 (10%).
the email I received today said "so nothing yet I'm afraid" ...

Now question number 2 (as if that was not bad enough) on the website it states.
Weekly Online Surprise Bonus. "Several times a week we will select players to get a SURPRISE BONUSIt could happen at any time BUT you have to be playing to be eligible. The more often you play, the BETTER your chances of winning!"
Has any one ever recieved this from them. I did at one point ask if they could publish these players and said I thought that might "draw in even more players"..

So,
Referal a friend program.
1) I have not played at 3dice so this does not affect me.
2) I have played but never referred anyone.
3) I have referred friends and DID receive my "referal bonus" when they depositted WITHOUT asking for it.
4) I have referred friends and DID receive my "referal bonus" But I had to ASK Customer support prior to receiving my referal bonus.
5) I have referred friends but never received anything for my referal..
(they DID NOT deposit)
6) I have referred friends but never received anything for my referal.
(they DID deposit)
PART B
7) I have been chosen for the "Weekly online surprise bonus"
8) I have never been chosen for the "Weekly online surprise bonus"
9) I did not know the weekly online surprise bonus existed.

Just curious everyone!

In closing....They were more than fair and as far as asking for it.......Most casinos make you ask for it so I dont have a problem with that, besides, alot of ppl sign up but dont make a deposit right away, there is no way for a casino to be able to keep track of first deposits

I do, however, consider every bonus I get, besides comp points, a "SURPRISE BONUS". I'm sure 3Dice does too.
I kinda like your idea about publishing, but when looking at the figures you would have to consider that someone bets more than others.
Player A deposits $1000 a day, and gets a $500 weekly surprise bonus.

Would that look fair if there was no reference to how much they wagered?

I wasnt upset at all, infact I thought it was funny. I always deposit $10, sometimes $15 if it hits me to! I didnt even think of it until you told me that you said my name.

If anyone wants a bonus based on my deposits.........bad move LOL...you'll get comp points faster <snicker> In actuality though...it does only take one good spin! That $10 could of gotten me $500 Laurie, you never know!

no, i didn't know about the suprise bonus thing either. but in the last 2 months, i've gotten over $1000 in loyalty comps for my deposits and $700 in manager bonuses (and that's even after the fact that i stopped asking for "extras.") so seems like plenty of "suprises."

that is how I started it.. i actually was doing the "poll" section and got an emergency call and had to leave.. So I am so sorry everyone that I did not get it done right.

Can anyone help me fix is? I really wanted to see those stats!

I did just get 1 referral bonus,, for $2.30 (i guess they saw this before i did maybe.... ) I truly thought i was still in the middle of setting this up. Any help very much appreciated. or should i just start over? Help!

I must be the "acception" to that "fair surprise weekly bonus"... I do (did) deposit within each month approximately $300.00-$400.00.

But I do not recieve a $10 weekly surprise bonus. As a matter of fact, I just had to fight for the $2.30 referal bonus (yup, it went quick.)

I just sit around for the last couple of weeks very hesitant to even contact support.
Yes the same support we all raved about. Instead I played tourneys, or even played elsewhere..
Each time I made a deposit, I claimed my comp bonus with the deposit.
So when I did contact support regarding this extremely long losing streak I was told I had already gotten too many bonuses for the month!!
But I did not!
At the cashier the "comps" redeemed WITH a deposit read "bonus"...
my gg high roller and gg point conversions. showed as "bonus"...
see below.... this is just one week of my transactions, i did make a copy of the whole month. (but I guess this is another subject...

Brian that was just one week,, an EXAMPLE, of how IF you claim your comps when you deposit it shows up as a "bonus".... that's all. I am not about to post the whole month as that is my business.

GemG7 .. I am more than grateful for any and all bonuses received!! That was a quick jump to pass judgement. That is not the purpose of this poll.

I posted this to see how many 3dice members are aware of these "bonuses" and if they are How many actually got them with out haveng to ask!

I myself feel this poll and my "posting" it has had a real negative effect ...

I have known about the "Surprise Bonus" since I signed up at 3Dice. But I have never been able to find a link or listing anywhere of "3dice Weekly Surprise Bonus winners" (I might have seen one winner listed, in the one newsletter I got over a month ago or It may have been on the forum). Yes, I pop on and off 3Dice forum also...

I really feel that anyone who does play there should be aware of the "Benefits!" On the other hand, should we have to chase all benefits of playing there down? NO,,, If a referal to a friend is made by you...IMO the day the "Referred Friend" deposits to "your casino of choice" that referal bonus to you should be no more than a day or two,, don't you think?

They advertise this "bonus" and like with any other casino land based or online, If it is advertised do you want to go through hoops trying to get what is advertised? or even trying to find out "past winners" or "weekly winners"???

Yes, Benefits of play are awesome... No, I am not angry,, frustrated yes, but
I made this thread which is having an end result of informing almost EVERY reader and 3Dice member that there is a "Surprise Bonus" existing.. but they were not aware of it! or Informing them that IF you did refer someone make sure you ASK for your referal bonus!
I think this is more productive and informative than I expected. And I am glad it is. I appologize if anyone sees it as anything else.
I had asked Enzo well over a month ago if the "weekly surprise bonus winners were published or posted anywhere" I also said "I thought it would attract more players to the site if that information was public",, (I believe he agreed and said it would be published in the newsletter.) I have only gotten one newsletter....

PS, bb I am not unhappy with 3dice either,, (frustrated, curious,) but not unhappy. I have my opinion, and I wanted to know how informed everyone else is or is not. Again I appologize if anyone feels my intentions were different. (as far as "bonuses go.. i don't care. But I DO care when I have a "bonus" listed but that "bonus" was comps I earned through deposits and play. So In reality another piece of useful information would be that it is more realistic and financially smarter to wait until your comps reach the level to cash!
I have found that If you claim comps with a deposit You may "be getting more for your money" AT THAT MOMENT but doing so will affect your "bonus" amount totalsin the end.

Well,

IMHO...I have spoken to Mystic several times in the chat portion of 3 dice tournys and I really dont think she has an agenda. She really enjoys herself while playing and I truly think she just wanted people to know that these bonuses existed and wanted to know if you get them or not. Ive never really seen her complain while playing. We just have fun conversation with the occasional whine about life!

and on the topic of "suprise" bonuses, when i was looking back at my banking history, i realized that a while back, i did get a couple of bonuses and extra comps that weren't asked for. none were labeled as "suprise" bonuses though...if i remember correctly, they were ones with the little cute messages from the staff or enzo.

There are MANY casinos that regard comps as "bonus", Grand Prive and Casino Rewards are two examples. Also, it is common for tournament winnings to be regarded as a "bonus", even where the event was of the "who wagers the most" variety. Somewhere in the back end, stats are generated to show bonuses received as a proportion of both deposits and "action". Depending on the casino and player's VIP level, they have targets for how much bonus money players should be getting on average. Where a player has exceeded their target, they will find bonuses hard to come by, but if their deposits and action leaves them below target, this will likely be corrected by additional deposit boni, free chips, and manager bonuses.

The bonuses from GoneGambling will also count towards this, and will immediately give you 50% on your first $50 deposit, followed by a percentage of your high roller deposits from $300 per 30 days. With enough GG points, it is quite possible to get bonused at 100% without even starting on the 3Dice casino bonuses discussed in this poll.
Comps redeemed with a deposit are at an enhanced rate, which is why they show as "bonus". Strictly, only the enhanced amount is bonus, but I expect the cashier cannot cope with this complication, although the back end stats probably can.
$50 every 30 days also allows entry to a number of freeroll tournaments, and, unlike Microgaming, "free" actually MEANS free!

The problem with the referral scheme is that it is based on only the FIRST deposit, which for many will indeed be to "test the waters". If anyone is in a position to refer many social contacts, it might be better to set up an affiliate site and make it your own personal site for socialising. This might, however, be a problem for US players, as both the IRS and DoJ might want a slice of your cake, or maybe even shut you down if you don't make enough

Hippo, I am not sure if any of those are a "weekly surprise bonus" . I would think that IF they were one of those bonuses that little box would say "weekly surprise bonus winner". (but then again there is no way to track it and no way to track IF your referred friend did deposit except them telling you! so then you contact support, on and on)

Look, another good thing came out of this HiHoHiHo & Me_and_ed discovered the referal bonus was not received!! (patting myself on the back) I hope you DO get your referal bonus now Me_and_ed!!

In the beginning of playing there I would get those rectangular boxes once in a while! Once it said "good luck sweetie"
IMO It might help put a halt to all this confusion if emails were sent out to winners, or if a monthly newsletter were sent to players with a list of
"Weekly Surprise Bonus Winners for the month of _______"

Yes, I know it is alot of work to put out a newsletter.
I am going to check the 3Dice forum. Who knows, maybe they started a new thread there for "Weekly surprise bonus winners" I just think there should be a way to know who does win them, because I know I don't (and no it is not a complaint!) :notworthy
