Even though it can probably be said of most casinos - whose business model more or less is based on people spending as much time, and inevitably: money, as possible in their joint - Stake more so than others, systematically, with the invaluable aid of their carefully recruited streamers already brought to fame by for example online games such as CS, LoL, WoW, or whatever, already with a massive follower base under their influence, consisting of especially a youth - often even under-aged - audience - try to indoctrine into the coming generation an illusion that the gambling of absurd amounts of money is a surefire way to riches they'd never get hold of otherwise and that their particular casino is where these dreams will come true.

Everyone who's been around for a while can identify the scam. The youth, no so much.

As a website stake seemingly offers a stupid large number of games at highest RTP and even higher than the regular max on their reskins along with a ton of rewards for players. They have got to be one of if not the largest online casino around. Unfortunately they don't accept players from the UK because I'd love to be able to play there.

The bonus being offered here is pretty meh. Assuming you can only use 1 type of signup code getting $10 free (that you have to wager 5x) is likely on the very bottom end of signup bonuses you can find for the site. Add to that the significant hoops required (full documentation verification for $10?!) and I think I'd much rather go for one of those massive 200% deposit matches even if it does have 40x wagering.

Stake has been made famous by the stupendous amount of "celebrity" streamers who get a shitload of free money yet to get $10 as a regular Joe you have to jump through hoops.

Even if I could play there I wouldn't. There have been enough stories going around about the history of the casino's owners and if you look(ed?) up their address they're located in a shack in the Caribbean.

The only thing they have going for themselves is RTP on their games is still on the highest setting as far as I know.

And for the third time, again no uk players can join, but a $10 free no deposit bonus with only 5x wagering isn’t a bad offer in itself. But being a crypto site will put off many people from signing up. Just another typical site that don’t seem to come across as particularly safe for the player to play at. High RTPs are generally a very welcomed proposition but in these cases it just makes me feel like a too good to be true scenario.

thats a lot to do for a 10 bonus. i would rate my data more valuable then 10 usd :)
i also read a lot of bad things about stake so this is a clear no for me.
i guess the bonus also comes with a max win limit? and abi also think that even if u manage to win sth from the bonus, u probably will have to make a depo first to be able to withdraw.e

even if all my points above are wrong i d still not open an account at that site.
there are just too many bad reviews and 10 is not worth the possible frustration afterwards.

might be a nice bonus for people that dont mind handing out their data

I can't do this promo from the UK but 10 USD basically cash in hand, just 5x wagering is a nice inducement to play, and I'd take this if I could. Stake has a somewhat spotted reputation and I might be worried if I happened to hit a megajackpot, but I assume they're pretty safe for low level play.

im more like.... HODL

#gamblewithfiatftw!

I had no idea what level 3 KYC was so had to look it up and I wouldn't bother with this bonus at all, if it was available to me in the UK. Having to prove source of funds before you even start playing is extremely off putting. Completely understand source of funds requests if you've been shoving loads of deposits in, because maybe there is a genuine concern for where the money is coming from, but for a 10 dollar freebie, no thanks!

Didn't realise that's what L3 included. If that's the case, I would run a mile 🤣

I'm not a fan of the dodgy streamer deals(ie trainwreckztv etc losing hundreds of millions), funding problematic streamers and going after their young audience. If its source of funds like cheekymoney said above thats wild for $10 but if its just bank statement/id etc then I don't think it's a terrible idea. 5x wager is generous too.

I'm waiting to see if they manage to improve their reputation with players here first before signing up.

I know of Stake, and I too have my concerns with legitimateness and fairness of site when it’s obvious they have a lot of fake , not so smart streamers , playing nose bleed stakes fake money.

But I still decided to give them a fair shake and find out for myself , so I went to the site to take a Lookie -loo , take the offer and road test it myself. Sadly during KYC checks ran into small issue , although I am a🇨🇦 resident , my 🇨🇦 passport is expired currently; as a dual citizen i have two passports , second passport is from a restricted region 🇬🇧. I’ve not lived in UK for more than 20 years , so I thought it maybe an issue if all AI , after checking KYC ID check it did refer to situations like this and said long as I had utility bill or some other back up documents showing I live in 🇨🇦 it’s a non event ; so I thought No problem.

As expected my ID got flagged , asked me to upload other documents - I picked Hydro (Electric) bill and a bank statement;

This is were things went sideways, my additional documents were not uploading , I was getting an error message there was an issue with passport , so upload additional documents to resolve ; when uploading I get the Error then you cannot upload documents until the secondary ID are uploaded. Basically I needed to provide proof to authenticate, but to send this proof I needed to be authorized first so a No WIn. I did contact support who just gave me boiler plate answers and the AI could not grasp how to fix

I gave up -

@Webzcas this my official review

I dont mind signing up but going through the verification process for the bonus seems a bit too much. If it was email and phone verification I would be up for it the level 3 verification process seems a bit too much.
The bonus does seem exciting though and a wager requirement of 5x seems doable. Most games are on max RTP I believe but I wonder how much would that come into play in such short amount of spins available on $10. Wonder what the max cashout is? I tried to get answers from live chat and they have AI bots that wont let you reach human agent.
Best of luck to anyone trying.

$10 to basically purchase my documents? Uh no thanks. If it was $10 to give it a try, sure.

But some overseas sketchy casino wanting documents out of it all? Seems weird to me. Some people may not mind and the 5x wager seems great if you hit anything but I dunno about this one.

You also didnt put the max cashout amount?

Again, more details the better.

I used to love going to Stake.......until the dreaded geoblock forced me to vacate it's revolving doors of the 13th floor of it's lucrative hotel!

I do remember iirc that Stake Ontario will be "coming soon" which was a few years ago which actually never came to this day! Nowaways, the alternative is Rainbet which I'm still skeptical to join.

In regards to the NDB, having my documents to be verified at the start is something I don't want to do. How will I know if I'll win big, get laid and cash out? How will I know if a loss is imminent upon accepting the offer?

Sending docs first hand for nothing is not the hot idea I would want to spank on the first date of casinos. I want to be verified thoroughly after the fact, and then handle big bonuses especially if they are more than a pair of each! And to be fair, this sign up process for verification just to get an NDB sounds like a one night stand.......under the full moon, music involving guitars and maracas in a fast pace.

there is no way I would jump through the KYC hoops of fire first before accepting a no deposit bonus, that is just not how things should work, you don't want to waste time going through such a process before you have a good reason to do so, you would need to have a cashout ready before doing so. sure the wagering is low of only 5x but the KYC hoops is too much. anyway wouldn't be able to accept this offer even if I wanted to cause of all country restrictions.
