I spent a good part of the day chasing up some unethical dodgy webmaster who had acquired a number of "casinomeister" URLs, and was using these to promote a number of well known brands. Unlike last year where I got the "speak to the hand" treatment by Wagershare, one of the affiliate programs was able to contact this dickhead webmaster - and he turned over 27 domains to me - all with the term "casinomeister" or a derivative of the name. All of these sites were live - mostly German - with several properties being predominantly displayed. They are mine now.

What pisses me off, is that this douchebag acted like he didn't know that what he was doing was wrong. Casinomeister is trademarked - worldwide - and he knew it because he was THE SAME MORON who was using several casinomeister domains last year to which I had my lawyer threaten to take him to civil court.

That's right, he knew what he was doing. He is even a subscriber to our newsletter - so he knows all about Casinomeister.

I'm still looking into this. But what is frustrating is that there is a environment in this industry that condones intellectual property theft. There are a number of affiliate programs that either turn a blind eye to this and only take action when someone gets caught, or they are enabling it another way.

To be continued...
