William Hill isn’t the best casino in the world, nor is it the worst. They’re in the “Neutral Zone” here at Casinomeister due to spam marketing tactics, and for their lack of customer service. . That said, they offer first cashouts, a wide variety of games and access to some great sports betting facilities – so they’re a good option for many players, especially those located within the UK.

Note; the William Hill Mobile Casino app doesn’t offer sports betting or poker – it only provides access to the site’s casino games.

About the Team and History
William Hill Casino is part of a company with one of the longest histories in the gambling industry; the company was first formed back in 1934 by a man named William Hill. In September 2020, William Hill agreed to a £2.9 billion takeover deal by Caesars Entertainment. The company holds many online gambling licenses; these are issued by the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner.
Complaints and Track Record
William Hill is by far probably the largest online gambling site, hands down. And they have just about everything – Sports, Casino Games, Bingo, Poker, Live Games…it’s William Hill, remember? But big is not always better.
William Hill has never been listed in the Accredited section here at Casinomeister. They almost were when they were a Cryptologic powered casino, but since they went Playtech, things got a little weird over there. Some of it has to do with being associated with the Israeli run Affutd, their affiliate program.
Affutd is just CPays revamped and relaunched (cpays.com redirects to affutd.com). Back in the day, CPays was notorious for using black hat SEO and other unorthodox casino marketing methods. As long as Will Hill is associated with these guys, they can forget being accredited at CM.
And to add, the bigger the casino is, the more detached it gets from the player and webmaster community. We get regular spam emails from their affiliate managers, “Hi, I was impressed with your site, and I wanted to promote our products which are clearly too busy to actually read the rules of our Becoming Accredited section which is linked to every page on this website.
In terms of player complaints, most issues seem to revolve around the verification times associated with personal information (KYC) checks – and despite being one of the biggest online casinos around, they seem to have some internal issues when it comes to verifying customers. However, other than that, it seems that major issues are relatively rare at the site, and they appear to process withdrawals quickly, usually all together at the end of each day.
