From the Desk of Max Drayman
Insofar as player complaints are concerned there is good news and bad news when it comes to FortuneJack. The good news is that there aren’t many complaints: in the past three years for example there have been three formal — Player Arbitration aka PAB — issues and about as many complaint posts on the forums.
The bad news is that the player cases we have taken to the casino were not dealt with in a professional manner: lame accusations of multiple accounts seems to be their favourite excuse for taking action against their players but believable evidence is never forthcoming. In one case they gave us a screenshot of two user names with no further data whatsoever, it looked like a beginners practice exercise in Microsoft Paint! In another more serious case they claimed that a player had multiple accounts but the only evidence they offered was that the players in question had supposedly both come from the same IP. IP evidence is insufficiently weak at the best of times but one coming two and half years after the other — as was the case here — is a joke! In both cases the casino ignored our requests for additional supporting evidence.
So the bottom line is that you’re not likely to have need to complain about FortuneJack but if you do buckle up!: it isn’t going to be fun and you’ll likely be accused of things the casino will never bother to prove.
