Casinomeister's Verdict

Weiss is a well-rounded casino whose primary strengths lie in its excellent selection of games and the number of cryptocurrencies it supports. The site itself also offers a great user experience, with a sleek design and useful search functions.

The main downside is the fact the casino is currently in the process of applying for a Curaçao license. We always recommend you exercise caution when playing at an unlicensed casino, but Weiss has maintained a good reputation and we’ve had no complaints about them so far. Given that our experience was predominantly positive after thoroughly testing the casino over the course of a week, we can still recommend it — with a healthy dose of caution and fine print reading.

From the desk of Max Drayman

Weiss.bet has apparently been in operation for over a year now, so it’s particularly noteworthy that we’ve seen no complaints against them whatsoever. Good on them! Their parent casino group — Taktonum Group N.V. — seems to just have this one casino, so nothing further there to provide more background on Weiss. The one thing I did notice that’s worth keeping an eye on is that Weiss technically doesn’t have a license: their application for a Curaçao GCB license is in progress but not yet complete as of this writing (2024-09-30).

First Impression

The Weiss online casino was established in 2023, and is currently the only casino operated by Taktonum Group N.V. The company is registered in Curaçao, but the casino’s application for the Curaçao GCB license is in progress as of the time of writing. There doesn’t seem to be much cause to be concerned about this, as there have been no major red flags regarding the casino or the parent company, and they’re most likely in the process of getting the license renewed.

The site leaves a strong impression, as the white background and color highlights give it a very fresh and modern feel. Dark mode fans will be disappointed and the sidebar feels a bit cluttered in some segments, but the site is otherwise quite easy to use and navigate. The search functionality is quite good, with several filters that can help you find the games you want more easily. And speaking of games, there’s thousands of slots from reputable providers, as well as over 300 live games from Pragmatic Play, Evolution Play, and Ezugi.

Lastly, Weiss offers a good selection of payment options, with a few eWallets and a few dozen  cryptocurrencies and crypto tokens.

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

Weiss casino’s bonuses mainly come down to several deposit bonuses, and a decent loyalty program.

Welcome Offer

The casino has several deposit bonuses for new players, all expressed in Tether (USDT). These bonuses are as follows:

  • First deposit (min. 20 USDT): 100% up to 999 USDT or equivalent + 80 free spins
  • First deposit high roll (min. 1000 USDT): 125% up to 3000 USDT + 80 free spins
  • Second deposit (min. 30 USDT): 100% up to 1000 USDT or equivalent + 40 free spins
  • Third deposit (min. 50 USDT): 75% up to 999 USDT or equivalent + 80 free spins

These bonuses all come with a wagering requirement equal to 45 times the awarded bonus, which is on the high side. This wouldn’t be too big of an issue if the bonuses weren’t valid for only 5 days, as it’s a very short amount of time to wager larger deposits. The free spins are game-specific, they come with an even higher 55x wagering requirement, and are also valid for only 5 days.

In essence, Weiss has decent matching offers on their deposit bonuses, but the extremely small wagering window makes the bonuses go from “decent” to “just okay.” It’s even more discouraging when it comes to the high roller bonus, as the minimum deposit on that one is also quite high and doesn’t offer as good value as many other high roller bonuses.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

Currently, Weiss doesn’t offer any notable no-deposit bonuses. There’s only a cashback bonus provided through the casino’s loyalty program, but more on that below.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation and update this section if any no-deposit bonuses are added in the future. In the meantime, if you’re looking for good no-deposit bonuses specifically, you can take a look at our list of no-deposit bonus casinos.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Weiss’s loyalty program is based on their unique blockchain token: Weiss Fuel Token (WEFT). This token is set at a fixed value of $0.0146 and there are two ways you can earn it: Play to Earn and Hold to Earn.

Play to Earn is simple — you place bets in the casino and you get rakeback based on the bet amount and wager. Hold to Earn is a bit different — you invest your tokens into a shared pool for a set period of time (1 day to 1 week), and a portion of the casino’s profits is distributed among the players afterward. There is no risk of losing your tokens either, as the worst-case scenario is that they’re returned to you with no extra profits.

As you accumulate WEFT through Play to Earn, you also level up and gain access to shorter, more profitable holding periods. You also gain weekly cashback with a 60x wagering requirement, and as you get to higher levels, you also get access to no-wager daily and weekly cashback, too.

Overall, what I liked the most about Weiss’s loyalty program is that it lets you gain tokens you can convert into currencies of your choice, though the whole process may be a bit too complicated for people not used to playing at crypto casinos.

Banking & Payment Methods

Weiss has a number of payment options for both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

For fiat currencies, payment methods include:

  • VISA and Mastercard debit/credit cards,
  • Interac,
  • Skrill,
  • Neteller,
  • Perfect Money,
  • Jeton,
  • SticPay Wallet, and
  • PayDo eWallet.

Keep in mind that payment methods for fiat currencies are country-specific, so the exact list may vary.

You can also make deposits and withdrawals using a number of cryptocurrencies and tokens, with a great selection that rivals other crypto casinos. This includes Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Tether (USDT), Ethereum (ETH), TRON (TRX), Ripple (XRP), Binance Coin (BNB), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Stasis EURS (EURS), Stellar (XLM), Pax Dollar (PAX), Compound (COMP), Decentraland (MANA), The Graph (GRT), Aave (AAVE), TrueUSD (TUSD), Uniswap (UNI), USD Coin (USDC), Yearn.finance (YFI), Maker (MKR), SushiSwap (SUSHI), Chainlink (LINK), DAI, Synthetic (SNX), Band Protocol (BAND), and Basic Attention Token (BAT).

The minimum deposits for eWallets are usually $10, while the minimums for cryptocurrencies are expressed in the respective cryptocurrency, so they vary. The minimum withdrawal amount is 50 USDT, regardless of what method you use. There are no fixed withdrawal limits, but the casino reserves the right to pay out any withdrawal in daily installments that total no more than $4000 per week. This adds up to $16,000 per month, which isn’t amazing but shouldn’t pose a problem for most players.

Any of these options or numbers are subject to change, and you can easily review all payment methods and limits after you register an account.

Weiss Withdrawal Speed

The withdrawal times vary by payment method, and they’re all manually verified by the casino’s finance personnel. Cryptocurrencies are the fastest, and usually only take about 10 or so minutes to approve. On the other hand, eWallets might take up to a day, and credit/debit cards can take up to 5 days to process. Whatever method you choose, the casino has a maximum of 10 business days to approve your withdrawal.

Responsible Gaming

On the responsible gaming front, the situation is pretty much what you’d expect from the jurisdiction. The casino shares some useful tips for responsible gambling but doesn’t have much in the way of actual features, such as time limits, wager limits, loss limits, etc.

Players can self-exclude via customer support for a period of 1 day, 7 days, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or indefinitely. Alternatively, you can also self-exclude directly through the site for 1 day, 7 days, or permanently. This option is tucked away in the self-exclusion policy page, and while I would’ve preferred to see it featured more prominently, it’s a good thing that Weiss has it as an option in the first place.

Customer Support

Like most casinos, Weiss’s site is equipped with a live chat function, but you can also contact support via email or phone. This is as good a selection of support channels as you can expect from an online casino, so definitely a plus.

The live chat is the highlight and the most convenient method you can use to get in touch with support, and you can even share files and download chat logs for reference. Agents always responded within a minute and were quick to help with any issues or questions I had. As usual, email was the slowest, and responses took anywhere between 10 minutes to half an hour.

Sadly, the self-help resources are somewhat limited. There is no chatbot or easily accessible FAQ section, so you’ll have to clear any routine questions up with customer support directly.

KYC

The KYC procedure at Weiss is quite simple. They reserve the right to initiate the verification process at any time, though it will most likely happen when you make your first withdrawal request. The documents they may request include government-issued ID, passport, bank statements, or utility bills.

The casino confirms that the verification process can take up to 7 days, so if you don’t want to risk having to wait on your winnings for a week, it’s best to initiate the process on your own through the “Identity verification” tab on your profile page.

Weiss Casino Experience and Features

As the name may suggest, Weiss has a very bright design with a white background and plenty of colorful highlights. This might be unpopular with some people today, in the age of dark mode, but the design works quite well and gives the casino a very fresh and futuristic feel.

Using the site is also quite convenient, although the sidebar might feel a bit confusing due to the seemingly arbitrary way that some categories are listed. Still, it’s easy to find what you need, with a number of filtering and sorting options. The site is also available in over 15 languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Czech, Hungarian, Russian, and Turkish.

Lastly, while the casino doesn’t have a proper app, the website is so well-optimized for mobile that it might as well be an app. It works smoothly and the layout is shifted around to better accommodate a mobile platform, so thumbs up for that.

Brand games

Weiss Casino Game Providers

When you open up any games section, you can easily filter games by provider and even see how many games each provider offers. There’s a bunch of reputable names that immediately stick out, including Spinomenal, Nolimit City, Betsoft, Microgaming, Netent, Pragmatic Play, and many others.

However, keep in mind that not all providers are available in every region, so the exact selection may vary.

Weiss Slots

With so many game providers, the sheer variety of slots you can find at Weiss is not surprising. When you go to filter slots by provider, you can see exactly how many games are available from each provider. One glance at the list, and you can see that the casino boasts thousands of slots.

On top of that, Weiss also lets you narrow down the selection by type, including popular slots, new additions, jackpots, megaways, tournaments, and recommended slots. That said, browsing slots is a breeze and you’re sure to find what you need.

You can also tag certain slots as favorites for quick access, and you can also check the “Recently played” tab for a quick look at all the slots you’ve tried out. Really useful if you like trying out a bunch of different slots and want to come back to a specific one. All in all, it’s a top-notch experience.

Live Casino Games

The live casino section at Weiss is also good, with about 300 games from Pragmatic, Evoplay, and Ezugi, all of which are well-established providers of live casino games. The selection includes different types of roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, and some game shows.

However, since there are only 3 providers here, keep in mind that you may end up with a smaller selection if any one of them is unavailable in your country. Another minor quirk I noticed is that you can’t narrow down your selection by game type. Hopefully, this is something the Weiss team will address in the future, as being able to narrow down live games by type is extremely useful, especially if you’re looking for specific variants (e.g. French roulette or Classic blackjack).

About the Weiss Team and History

Weiss was established in 2023, and is the only casino currently owned and operated by Taktonum Group N.V., a company registered in Curaçao. As of the time of writing, the casino is in the process of obtaining a Curaçao GCB license.

Complaints and Track Record

We’ve had no complaints about Weiss here at Casinomeister, and given that it’s been around for over a year now, that’s a good sign. As for the owner, there isn’t much to say. Being a Curaçao-registered company with only one casino, they don’t have a lot of publicity.

In any case, the casino has maintained a steady track record with no major red flags, but it’s always a good idea to exercise caution and read the fine print with any offshore casino, licensed or unlicensed.
