Oshi is a seasoned casino with over 10 years of market presence behind them. Taking a closer look at the site, there are plenty of strong points: an absolutely jaw-dropping lineup of games, plenty of popular deposit methods (including crypto), and a decent set of bonuses. Support is also quite responsive, and we were happy to find a full suite of responsible gambling tools, too.

On the downside, our main concern is Oshi’s increasing lack of responsiveness to player complaints, which is not something we have a lot of tolerance for with Accredited casinos. Since Oshi has recently been put under new management at Novatrix SRL, we’ll give it a bit to see if the situation improves.

At the end of the day, this is not to say Oshi is going rogue — their overall complaints record is quite clean for their 10+ years in the market. There’s no reason to believe you’ll get scammed, just know that you’d be in for a not-so-ideal experience if you run into an issue and need to raise a complaint.

Where to start? In theory an Accredited casino has at least some interest in working with Casinomeister and addressing player issues that come up, either on the forums or through the PAB (complaints) service. Oshi does none of these things.

Their rep is perpetually AWOL, they ignore complaints issues that we bring to their attention, and we’ve had to repeatedly go through special channels at Dama to even get issues looked at, never mind resolved. PABers are saying they’re going to go to CasinoGuru in hopes of getting better service. So at this point, I’m standing here looking at Oshi’s Accredited status and in my mind I have a can of gasoline and a box of matches. Guess what happens next? The change to Novatrix best be pretty magical because if it ain’t Oshi is going to be on the “downgrade” hit list.

Oshi Casino doesn’t have a jaw-dropping lineup of bonuses. You’ll find a multi-part welcome package and a daily reload bonus listed, and that’s about it. The wagering requirements are usually set at a decent 40x the bonus amount.

We found nothing concerning in the bonus terms, and they’re generally fair. There’s a list of excluded slots, so be sure to double-check if the game you’re playing is on the list. Also, remember that bonus terms can change at any time, so always check them for yourself if you claim any bonus offer at Oshi.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Oshi’s VIP program is simply dubbed “Oshi VIP”, and it’s a multi-tier VIP scheme similar to what you’d find at other online casinos.

There are 5 tiers, ranging from Bronze to Diamond, and you level up by accumulating comp points. You get 1 comp point for each 40 EUR wagered on slots, and it’s fully transparent how many comp points you need for each tier.

Visually, Oshi sticks to the tried and tested approach: muted colors, largely minimalistic, with a clean navigation bar on the left. The banners and graphics are a weird point, as they show up a bit pixelated and the design is giving off a very “my nephew knows Photoshop” vibes. Honestly, it comes across as oddly charming — maybe that was the intention.

On the more practical side of things, the casino has all the basic features we expect to see, but without anything that really makes it stand out. There’s simple title search, some useful game categories, a searchable provider list, and the ability to bookmark games as favorites.

We also tested the casino on mobile, and the experience was just as good — Oshi’s clean UI lends itself well to mobile play, all the elements feel just the right size for a smaller screen, and we didn’t run into any performance issues with games.

About the Oshi Team and History

Oshi first launched in 2015 and counted among many brands in the portfolio of Dama N.V. Recently, they had a change in management, and are now owned by Novatrix SRL — a Costa Rica-based company without much prior footprint.

The licensing also switched from Curacao to the Tobique Gaming Commission. This is not exactly a radical change as neither jurisdiction is known for high standards of player protection. So, it’s another one of those cases where the player experience will hinge on the management.

Finally, it’s important to note that Oshi started off great when they first got Accredited, but have since fallen off. The rep has grown increasingly unresponsive, so unless the new management turns things around, they’re sure to be bumped down to a lower status.

Complaints and Track Record

Every online casino is going to accumulate its share of player complaints over the years, and Oshi is no exception. For a site that’s been around for over 10 years now, there aren’t that many, but we were mostly concerned about their lack of responsiveness at Casinomeister.

As noted by Max, the new management will need to make some changes if Oshi is to remain Accredited. As things stand, complaints can be resolved but will definitely take more time than necessary.
