Mirror Bingo has been around for a very long time, and its strongest points are its licenses (UKGC and Alderney), a decent level of variety in a relatively limited selection of games, comprehensive responsible gaming tools, and a wide range of bonuses and promotions that returning players can enjoy.

However, the biggest downsides are the 65x wagering requirement that’s attached to most bonuses and the underwhelming customer support. We normally invest up to 10 hours over the course of a week into testing a casino, and the response times here were a perfect reminder why that’s necessary.

While Mirror Bingo has had a number of minor complaints on the Casinomeister forums, the real issue is their parent company which, through Jumpman Gaming and SuperGroup, is effectively Betway. Betway used to be Accredited at Casinomeister until they adopted a “talk to the hand” stance with us in 2016 regarding player complaints. That position now applies to all 148 brands, give or take, that are part of SuperGroup: they’re all part of the same black hole with player issues. Otherwise the licensing is legit and the casinos get a decent rating from players. From our point of view they’re just one part of a large, corporatised conglomerate that stays as aloof from players as they can get away with. Lovely for them it seems but rather “meh” for players with issues that need attention.

First Impression

Mirror Bingo is a UKGC and Alderney-licensed online casino, operated by Jumpman Gaming Limited, which is in turn owned by Super Group. The corporation owns an extensive network of online casinos, including big names such as Betway, so there’s no doubt that you’re dealing with a legitimate casino.

Despite the brand name focusing on bingo specifically, Mirror Bingo has a solid selection of casino games, including hundreds of slots, jackpots, and table games. There’s “only” about 3500 games in total, which is quite a bit less than many other online casinos, but you’ll find decent variety nonetheless. They support payments via all the most popular channels, including VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, and paysafecard, which was good to see.

Something else that stood out immediately was the design of the site, which is flashier and might feel a bit dated compared to some competitors, but I thought it didn’t really hurt the user experience. If anything, it makes them stand out more in a sea of more-or-less minimalist approaches to website design.

The welcome bonus at Mirror Bingo comes down to their Welcome Mega Wheel, which allows players to win rewards such as Amazon vouchers or up to 500 free spins that you can use on 9 Pots of Gold, a medium volatility slot with an RTP of 96.24% — not great, not terrible.

What is terrible, however, is the 65x wagering requirement that comes attached with any bonus money you might win from these free spins. The maximum winnings are also limited to 8 GBP per 10 spins, and the maximum amount you can convert into real money is capped by the total amount deposited at the casino. Needless to say, this can be quite inconvenient for new players — you might luck out and be locked out of your winnings, or you might be tempted to make a bigger deposit without any guarantee you’d get something extra out of it.

So, quite a lukewarm welcome bonus with lots of restrictions, and the main upside is that you can get free Mega Wheel spins for every 20 GBP deposited. All of this is subject to change, so be sure to carefully read the extensive bonus terms before making your first deposit.

Sadly, all of these bonuses are subject to the same 65x wagering requirement unless stated otherwise, which is far from ideal but not quite as bad when your bonus isn’t directly tied to a deposit you have to wager first.

Mirror Bingo doesn’t have a traditional VIP program. Instead, they rely on a gamified trophy system combined with regular bonuses to encourage returning players. The trophies are “tasks” that you can accomplish — meeting betting goals, setting win benchmarks, getting game-specific achievements, etc. You can see all of them from the Trophies page in the top bar after registering an account.

As you unlock more trophies, you level up, and the higher your level, the better the rewards you can get on Mega Wheel spins. However, these also come with the same 65x wagering requirement. This isn’t too bad for some bonuses, but when the free spins are tied to trophies that generally require you to place real money bets, aim for big wins, or play regularly, it becomes a bit disappointing.

Put simply, it’s a lot of deposit money counting towards a wheel that might give you free spins that might earn you bonus money that you then might cash out if you manage to wager it 65 times without losing it. Add the aforementioned max 8 GBP win per 10 free spins, and it’s easy to see why this isn’t a very player-friendly bonus scheme for the long term.

Something else worth noting is that Mirror Bingo has a fixed 2.5 GBP fee for all withdrawals, which is just shameless nickel-and-diming that can pile on over time and discourage you from withdrawing your winnings. Boo. 👎

Mirror Bingo Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawals at Mirror Bingo aren’t the fastest, as they state withdrawals may take 1-5 days to process. Casinos usually leave this kind of buffer for themselves, and transactions are usually faster in practice, but you can never be sure unless you’re playing at a fast withdrawal casino that commits to same-day payouts.

You can withdraw funds using any of the payment methods mentioned above, with the sole exception of Pay by Mobile, as it’s only an option for depositing money. This makes a total of 6 withdrawal methods, which isn’t amazing but they do support all of the popular payment methods

Mirror Bingo has a great selection of responsible gaming tools, and the situation is about as good as it gets on this front.

Going through their responsible gaming page, you can set deposit limits for your account, take a break for up to 6 weeks, self-exclude for up to 6 months, and set yourself a reality check for periods ranging from 30 minutes to 5 hours.

These are all great features that are accessible directly through the site, and it goes without saying that the casino is GAMSTOP-compliant, in case you want to self-exclude for longer periods of time. Customer Support at Mirror Bingo

I’d honestly have to struggle to find something positive to say about Mirror Bingo’s customer support, but fortunately, I don’t have to. First of all, they advertise a live chat that’s supposed to be available from 9 am to 4 pm on work days only. The limited live chat availability is less than ideal, but the problem is, the live chat doesn’t seem to exist.

The only thing resembling a live chat was the “Support” button that shows up in the bottom right, only on the “Help” page. I tried it within the live chat’s supposed working hours over multiple days, and it only ever opened up an email contact form. Now, even if the live chat is somewhere in there, I believe it speaks volumes that I had to comb the site thrice over and still couldn’t find it. Who knows, maybe they’re temporarily understaffed or they’re having technical issues at a bad time, but this isn’t the first time I saw a casino falsely advertise a live chat feature. If you try playing here, let us know in the forum if the live chat works for you.

As for email, they say they aim to respond within 2 business days. In practice, I got replies to initial emails within about 20 hours, and replies to follow-ups took about 5 hours. These aren’t terrible response times for email support in general, but it’s painfully slow if you encounter some kind of burning issue and you have to engage in back and forth that could take days, without any alternative contact method.

Thankfully, there’s an extensive FAQ section on the Help page, which is absolutely necessary for any casino where clarifying basic information could take 24+ hours. Apart from that, there’s little more to say about customer support at Mirror Bingo. It’s there, but I hope you never have to use it.

KYC

As per their license, Mirror Bingo requires users to go through mandatory verification. This process can be initiated at any time by the casino or the player, but is mandatory before you can withdraw funds from their account.

To verify your identity, the casino needs the usual: a personal ID and a proof of residence. They may also require you to provide pictures of any debit/credit cards you added to your account, or in some cases, certified ID documents.

Mirror Bingo Casino Experience and Features

The design of Mirror Bingo’s site is flashier than most online casinos I’ve played at, with a bright red top bar and a gaudy green background with four-leaf clover graphics. There’s a lot going on visually, so they placed the main UI elements on black or white cards to make them stand out from the background. Overall, the site doesn’t really feel like a cohesive whole on this front, but it does stand out from the competition.

Fortunately, the layout is decent, with the main sections of the site divided into reward reels, promotions, and games. The games are further divided into slots, casino (i.e., table games), live casino, jackpots, and bingo, so finding what you need isn’t too difficult.

However, there’s little in terms of filtering options and the search function is quite basic. Most sections have a small enough selection of games for this to not be a huge issue, but browsing slots isn’t very convenient when the only meaningful categories you have to narrow them down are jackpots, megaways, and slingo. You also can’t favorite or view recently played slots, which is also quite inconvenient for returning players.

Desktop and Mobile Gaming

The mobile version of the site isn’t bad, but it also suffers from some questionable design choices. For one, the bottom bar dedicates several icons to games that are currently being promoted, and some of the UI elements felt either too small or too big on mobile. Still, the site works well, and most games display properly on mobile, though there were a few exceptions when a game was borderline unplayable in portrait mode.

The casino doesn’t have a complete list of providers, and it also doesn’t let you narrow down your search by provider. The search function only seems to search the names of the games, so it was impossible to tell exactly what providers are available.

Looking through the selection, it’s possible to find titles from leading brands such as Play n’ GO, Playtech, Hacksaw Gaming, and Pragmatic Play. So, with over 3000 games on offer, it’s safe to assume Mirror Bingo has a decent selection from established and lesser-known providers alike. However, actually browsing games from specific providers is borderline impossible.

Mirror Bingo Slots

Mirror Bingo has a decent but limited selection of slots, and they’re divided into several subcategories that are either useful or completely arbitrary.

The main categories of note are jackpots, megaways, and slingo, as they let you browse specific types of games. All the other categories simply sort slots based on their main themes (Egypt, gold, “mystical,” etc.), so they might be appealing to players who are simply looking to browse slots based on aesthetics, but that’s about it.

That said, searching or browsing the slots here is a far cry from the ideal user experience. I would’ve liked to see separate categories for high volatility slots and games with bonus buy features, and I’d also mention filtering by RTP but that really would be a tall order given that you can’t even filter games by provider.

Live Casino

The most surprising thing about Mirror Bingo’s live casino was that it existed in the first place, as I didn’t see it advertised anywhere on the site prior to making an account.

There’s only about 60-ish games available, primarily from Pragmatic and Playtech. To be precise, there’s currently 41 roulette games, 20 blackjack rooms, and 4 baccarat rooms.

The real problem is the lack of attention given to individual player issues, which is expected given the size of said conglomerate. So, if you do encounter any issues, resolving them when they crop up may prove to be more hassle than it’s worth. Honestly, the customer support is discouraging enough on this front.
