Luxury Casino gets a few things right, even if it doesn’t quite live up to its name. There’s a solid library of 1,000+ slot games and a decent live casino offering powered by the largely recognised provider, Pragmatic Play. The VIP program adds some extra value with comp points that convert into cash, and the site caters well to both casual players and high-rollers. Customer support is another bright spot, with 24/7 live chat delivering quick, friendly responses when you need them.

That said, the cracks start to show pretty quickly. The number of game providers is surprisingly low and the overall site design feels outdated and clunky. Withdrawal times are a major downside, with even e-wallets taking up to three days and bank transfers stretching to ten. Add in limited promotions beyond the welcome offer, minimal responsible gambling tools and a lack of a mobile app, and it starts to feel like style over substance. Past regulatory issues and player complaints about slow payouts don’t help either.

Luxury Casino is part of one of the first casino groups in the business and long-standing friends of Casinomeister. The group rep is the original model of an excellent and outrageously reliable casino representative and is always available to see issues dealt with promptly and fairly: if Renee_RA is the rep for your casino you are in good hands. I’ve gone to her for assistance many times over the years and I can’t think of a single time I walked away unsatisfied or unhappy with the outcome. Absolutely stellar, and my vote for Queen of the Casino Scene. The group is a little long in the tooth these days but they haven’t gone out to pasture either: very much recommended in spite of not necessarily being the shiniest button in the box.

Despite having a Luxury Casino account, we were unable to see any bonuses beyond the welcome one. This is slightly infuriating as it means players won’t be able to browse the promotions until completing the welcome bonus, or it means that there simply aren’t any bonuses available — and we aren’t sure which is worse.

The welcome bonus is five deposit bonuses, each with a minimum deposit of £10. This actually isn’t unreasonable and if you’re looking to stick around, it might be worth making the deposits to try your luck. With a name like Luxury Casino, we aren’t surprised that they roll out the red carpet for loyal players. It works on a tier-based system, with all players auto-enrolled to the green level. Each time you place a real-money wager at Luxury Casino or make a deposit, you will accumulate comp points. 100 of these comp points is worth $1, and once you’ve earned enough of them, you’re able to redeem them for cash. From our experience, it isn’t too tricky to rise through the first couple of ranks but when you’re approaching the higher levels, it does become unrealistic.

In all honesty, Luxury Casino may be luxury in name but not when it comes to payment options. Players will have around 15 depositing methods to choose from, including popular methods like Visa and Skrill, but only ten withdrawal methods. The design at Luxury Casino is actually far from a luxury experience, and they should consider a rename to something more fitting – perhaps Clunky Casino? It gives the impression that someone was building the site, got distracted halfway through, and never came back to finish the job. The load times are like waiting for something that will never come, but it’s the poor site navigation that was the final nail in the coffin.

Luxury Casino has been around since the dawn of time, and by that we mean 2000, but this is relatively old for an online casino. In recent years, Luxury Casino has not been the topic of conversation in our PABs, but three years ago, this was a different story. There were a couple of complaints made by players, with one saying that their balance was changing in a manner unrelated to their play, another player saying they had been treated unfairly, and one with a request not to be suspended anymore. All of them were raised to the ADR team, but at least they were all acknowledged, and a response was submitted.
