Highbet Casino Review
UK-facing casino with decent game variety and superb responsible gaming tools
Casinomeister's Verdict
Highbet brings a lot of good stuff to the table, with a streamlined design, excellent responsible gaming tools, and one of the strongest licenses in the industry. The positive user experience goes further, as there’s a readily accessible RTP list for every slot on the site, making it easy to find the best titles to play. There’s even a decent variety of games on offer, despite the limited number of providers on the site.
However, Highbet also has its share of downsides, and it mainly comes down to a complete lack of casino bonuses and limited payment methods. There isn’t even a welcome offer, no VIP program, and there are only 4 deposit/withdrawal methods. The biggest potential red flag comes from its sister casinos, as one has a spotty complaints track record, and we have the other one listed as rogue.
That said, we must recommend caution to anyone who plays at Highbet, at least until we have strong reason to believe they have a healthier approach to complaints compared to the sister casinos. See our full Highbet review below for more insight, and be sure to share your experience in the forums if you give it a go.

From the Desk of Max Drayman
While we’ve had no direct experience with Highbet in the Complaints department there is a disturbing bit of history with sister casino Vbet. See our Warning here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/vbet-no-pay-brainless-staff-worst-company-in-the-igaming-industry.103073/
With that on the one hand, there are a number of welcome checks on the list of important features for the casino: good licensing (UKGC); a serious Complaints process (IBAS); a clean record on the forums; etc.
Ah, but we’re not done yet, there’s another wrinkle in that another sister casino — dafabet — has not handled complaints well in the last little while, though only two complaints in as many years. So … what to say? Given the issue with the other casinos we’d have to say “proceed with caution” and if that doesn’t sound like much fun you’d certainly be forgiven for giving them a “pass.”
First Impression
When loading up Highbet, players are greeted by a simple and effective design, with lots of dark blues and gold highlights. It puts function before form, so it’s not too memorable but very good when it comes to actual user experience. Something else that immediately stood out was the casino immediately prompting us to set limits upon registration and automatically imposing a 1-hour reality check — it’s always a good first look when a casino promotes responsible gaming tools at the forefront.
Highbet is operated by SCGO Limited, which is based in Malta and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (account no.: 44662). Unfortunately, Highbet’s two active sister casinos (Dafabet and Vbet) both stuck out — we’ve had issues with them in the past, and the latter was relegated to the Rogue Pit several months ago.

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS
There isn’t much to say about Highbet bonuses, as there simply aren’t any. At the moment, they only offer a few bonuses for the sportsbook.
Highbet Welcome Bonus
Highbet sticks out from the crowd in one of the worst possible ways: it doesn’t have a welcome bonus. Needless to say, anyone looking to check out their casino section will find this to be a huge downside.
It’s worth noting that this might be a temporary situation, as they did have a (somewhat mediocre) welcome bonus when we started reviewing the casino, but it has since been taken down. Either way, a complete lack of any kind of welcome bonus is a big downside for any online casino.
No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers
At the moment, Highbet doesn’t have any no-deposit bonuses or free spins offers on the site, but that wasn’t really surprising given that they lack a welcome bonus.
It’s worth noting that Highbet does have some additional offers (such as free bets and weekend cashback) but only for the sportsbook.
We’ll keep an eye out and update the review if Highbet expands its bonus selection, and in the meantime, you may want to check out some other casino bonuses if you’re looking for any specific kind of offer.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
Highbet doesn’t seem to have any kind of loyalty program in place, which is bound to be disappointing for anyone looking for a new place to play long-term.
Many online casinos incentivize returning players by offering various rewards in the form of bonus spins, bonus cash, and other VIP benefits. Even though many VIP programs can be dubious and offer little value, something is always better than nothing on this front.
Banking & Payment Methods
Highbet supports an extremely limited selection of payment methods, with VISA, Mastercard, Skrill, and Neteller as the only options currently available. Since Highbet is licensed by the UKGC, it’s not a crypto-friendly casino.
Overall, this is a highly restrictive selection of payment methods, with a conspicuous lack of PayPal as a supported option. If that’s your preferred payment method, be sure to take a look at our selection of the best PayPal casinos in the UK.
Highbet Withdrawal Speed
All four of the deposit methods are also available for withdrawals. VISA and Mastercard withdrawals are capped at £2,000 per transaction while the eWallets are much higher, at £10,000 per transaction. There are no weekly or monthly limits imposed by the casino, which is great, but withdrawals can take up to 2 days to process on their end.
Responsible Gaming
One of Highbet’s strongest points is its comprehensive set of responsible gaming tools, as you’d expect from a UKGC casino. Even when signing up, you get prompted to set deposit limits, and reality checks are turned on by default. There’s a very thorough guide on how to play responsibly, as well as useful advice on how to stop an emerging problem and nip it in the bud.
As for the specific tools you can use, they include:
- Reality check — Can be set up to remind you of your play time in intervals from 10 minutes to 8 hours.
- Deposit and bet limits — These can be set up on a daily, weekly, or monthly level.
- Time out — Short-term cool-off periods for anywhere from 24 hours to 6 weeks.
- Self-exclusion — Long-term self-exclusion that lets you block your account for anywhere from 6 months to 5 years, or indefinitely. Highbet is GAMSTOP-compliant, so self-excluding here excludes you from all GAMSTOP casinos.
All in all, this is an excellent set of responsible gaming tools that are easy to use. The only options missing are loss limits, but we won’t nitpick that.
Customer Support at Highbet
Customer support at Highbet can be reached either via email, contact form, or 24/7 live chat. Sadly, support didn’t really shine throughout the week we were testing this casino.
Agents were always readily available, polite, and there were no wait times or bots no matter the time of day, but actually getting information from them proved challenging at times. A lot of it can be chalked up to the casino’s unclear policies (especially anything related to withdrawal times and limits) but be ready for some back-and-forth if you need to clarify any rules.
Sadly there are no self-help resources on the site, so for any issues you encounter, you’ll either have to contact support or go digging through the terms.

KYC
Being a UKGC-licensed casino, Highbet has a strict KYC procedure all players have to go through, and it must be completed before you can make deposits. The casino requires the usual proof of identity and proof of address to verify your account, and you can see the complete list of accepted documents in the casino’s general terms and conditions.
Highbet Casino Experience and Features
Highbet doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel with its design and layout, and it puts functionality in the forefront. The graphics are straightforward and mostly minimalistic, with a simple and non-intrusive color scheme of dark blues and gold highlights.
The casino is clearly divided into casino, live casino, sportsbook, and promotions sections, each of which is further split into relevant subcategories to improve the browsing experience. The search functionality is quite basic but gets the job done in a casino with a more limited selection of games.
The main downside was a lack of any sort of “recently played” tab where you can easily keep track of every game you tried, which can make things a bit inconvenient if you’re the kind of person who likes to go trying out new games on a spree. But apart from that, the casino offers a predominantly positive user experience.
Desktop and Mobile Gaming
When it comes to the mobile experience, it’s the same old story. Highbet doesn’t have a dedicated app, but the mobile version of the site is optimized well for mobile platforms. The site is organized, and the UI scales properly to different screen sizes. There’s some occasional jank but nothing major, and all the games we tested display and work properly on a smartphone. As usual, some providers’ games may need to be played in landscape mode, but no other complaints here.
Brand games
Highbet Casino Game Providers
The casino section at Highbet is looking quite sparse at the time of writing, with only 20 providers listed on the site. These include Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Nolimit City, Playson, Relax Gaming, Thunderkick, and Evolution, so there are reliable names here. However, there’s also a lot of big providers missing, making for an overall limited selection of games.
Highbet Slots
With only 20 providers on the site, the selection of slots is sadly underwhelming compared to many other casinos. Still, there are distinct categories for different types of games, including jackpots, megaways, crash games, scratch cards, bingo, and more. So, despite the limited overall number of games, there’s still a decent variety on offer.
The best part is you can see the RTP of every slot listed on a page in the footer of the site, making it easy to find the games that can give the best returns and avoid the ones that dip too low. Some titles drop well into the 80s, so it’s definitely something worth checking out.
Live Casino
The live casino section hosts a range of popular games from Pragmatic Play, Evolution, and CreedRoomz, including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, video poker, game shows, and even a couple of more niche games like Andar Bahar.
It’s an okay selection, but the pickings are fairly slim. So slim, in fact, that Highbet didn’t even bother creating separate categories for different types of games, and they’re still all easy to explore from the single live casino page.
About the Highbet Team and History
Highbet launched in 2021, and it seems to have changed several licenses and owners since. Today, it’s owned and operated by SCGO Limited, a Malta-based company with a UKGC license (account no.: 44662).
Highbet has two active sister casinos, Dafabet.co.uk and Vbet.co.uk. Sadly, neither of those have a sparkling record at Casinomeister. Dafabet didn’t shine in our complaints resolution process, and Vbet has a special spot in the rogue pit. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean Highbet will fare the same, but it’s a strong signal for caution for anyone who decides to play here.
Complaints and Track Record
We’ve had no complaints against Highbet at Casinomeister so far, although we did have a less-than-ideal experience with Dafabet — 2 complaints that they didn’t exactly handle well, one of which is still sitting open after 3 months. We found only a handful of complaints against Highbet on other complaints resolution services, but nothing that should raise any red flags.
The biggest point of concern is Vbet, which is a veritable cesspool of unresolved complaints, albeit mainly in offshore jurisdictions. There are very few complaints from players in the UK that we found, and they all seem to have been resolved. Still, a track record like this is bound to push a lot of players to approach Highbet with caution.
