This casino is fairly new to us, so we don’t have anything specifically related to them on record yet. That said, there are a number of non-trivial issues related to BetRunner and its sister casinos that are of concern. First and foremost is the license: Costa Rica. Nothing says “abandon all hope ye who enter here” like a Costa Rica gambling license. In truth, Costa Rica actually only issues business licenses, which means no policing, no oversight, no regulation, and critically no authorities to stand up to a misbehaving casino. So that leaves it up to the operator: their shop will be as good as they make it, and in this case, that may not be so great either. We’ve had complaints against a few of the sister casinos in the EOD Code SRL group, and the results have varied from underwhelming to “avoid that dumpster fire.” In other words, you are taking your continued relationship with your cash and your peace of mind into your own hands if you play at this casino: could be wonderful, but don’t be surprised if ain’t.

All in all, they seem to hit many notes, or at least they did at the time we were checking them out for the first time. But these are only some of the things that caught our eye the first time we went to BetRunner Casino’s website, and there’s always something that doesn’t initially show up when checking out online casinos. For perspective, you get 0.05% weekly turnover cashback and a 1% monthly cashback as you reach Level 1, but at Level 10 you can expect to be handed out a 10% monthly cashback, a personal manager and something they phrase as ‘special prizes and gifts.’ So far, so good, right?

Well, it seems like it until you begin to wonder what exactly you’re supposed to do to receive any of those perks. That makes two of us, since we weren’t able to dig up that information either. The only thing they make clear is that ‘there are no secret mechanics’ — you just keep playing, and at some point, you’ll be rewarded. In our book, that sounds just like the definition of secret mechanics.

Banking & Payment Methods

When in a crypto casino, you’ll have to do as the crypto enthusiasts do — and that pretty much sums up the entire payment selection you’ll see in BetRunner Casino. In other words, you’ll find nothing but crypto payment methods here. So, think Bitcoin, Solana, Toncoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and a couple more.

The minimum deposit varies depending on the cryptocurrency you go for, but, for perspective, they’ll expect you to put down 1 DOGE, 5USDT, or 0.01 BNB.

Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawal options you’ll find at BetRunner are basically the same as the deposit methods — crypto all the way. The maximum withdrawal amount, though, is capped at $50,000/month, which is definitely far from ideal for high rollers and/or jackpot winners. The VIP program could give you a boost there, but since they’re keeping things under a hat about the whole loyalty thing, we couldn’t, in good conscience, suggest you to rely on that.

The withdrawal speed is just what you’d expect from a crypto casino. It can take anywhere from a few seconds to 24 hours, but it’s definitely faster than what you’d see at regular places that offer fiat only.

Responsible Gaming

This one may be on us, but before we headed over to BetRunner Casino’s responsible gaming section, we had really high expectations. But, the conspicuous lack of anything else there except for the self-exclusion by request just left a bad aftertaste.

And to top this experience off, you won’t find any information about this feature in their Responsible Gaming section of the website, either. You’ll have to very consciously go to the chat widget and ask about the self-exclusion option. To tell the truth, this seems like a sneer at anyone who has trouble keeping their gambling habits in control.

Customer Support at BetRunner

Looking back at the whole experience, we definitely have mixed feelings about customer support at BetRunner Casino. We mainly contacted them using the chat widget (although there is the email option available), and each time we felt like playing with a blind bag toy. Sometimes, you get a cheap sticker, other times, a Marvel superhero figure.

At one point, they were super speedy, coming up with solutions on their feet, but other times, it seemed like the support reps didn’t even read our questions but just skimmed over them and made an assumption about what we asked. So we had to repeat ourselves more than once.

Your experience doesn’t have to match ours, this whole thing could really just depend on who’s typing away behind the screen. But based on what happened to us, we’d say – try not to run out of patience if need be to open up that chat widget.

KYC

The KYC process at BetRunner Casino is an enigma of its own kind. And not in a good way.

They do state in their Terms and Conditions section that players can expect to go through the KYC process at ‘various points,’ but their customer support basically told us that the verification process is not mandatory. We couldn’t find any info on what documents players might need to show when they’re asked to do an identity check.

To say that this practice is troubling on many levels would probably be an understatement. We do get the whole crypto, anonymity first vibe, but this basically puts players in a tough spot when they want to cash out and suddenly have to deal with an identity check out of nowhere.

BetRunner Casino Experience and Features

In all honesty, BetRunner Casino isn’t exactly the first contender in the world’s best website design competition. Although they were probably going for the cyberpunk vibe, the images look pretty much AI-generated. Even so, this shouldn’t take away from the whole casino experience since the entire layout is clean and well-structured. Dark-theme fans will be appreciative of their color scheme, too.

As for special features, there’s almost nothing worth mentioning here. You can get around the website using the search bar, but that option doesn’t always work as intended, so keep your cool.

If you’re into playing casino games on the go, you can mostly do it from your mobile phone browser since BetRunner Casino doesn’t have a standalone app.
