Betovo is a relatively new casino with an amazing selection of games, a comprehensive set of payment methods, highly responsive support via a 24/7 live chat, and they offer better responsible gaming options than what you’d usually see at a Curaçao-licensed casino.

However, the main downsides have to do with the extremely high wagering requirement for most bonuses, the mandatory 3x wagering on deposits, and a general lack of transparency in their loyalty program. There’s also the fact that the company listed as the operator on the site is not the same company listed in their Curaçao GCB license, which is the biggest potential red flag to keep in mind.

When we have no direct experience with a casino through our complaints service — as is the case with Betovo — we do a little poking around to see who that casino might be, where they are licensed, who their sister casinos are, etc. Sometimes you uncover gems of info, sometimes not, and sometimes you just get the distinct feeling that it would be wise to be extra cautious before proceeding.

Such is the case with Betovo: there seem to be two different companies listed as “owning” Betovo; they’re listed as having payments processed in Cyprus when any casino connection to Cyprus is often a very bad sign; they say that players with unresolved complaints should follow a link provided … which simply points to their Curaçao license (and Curaçao just tells players to seek legal advice); this strange sense of deja-vu when looking through the site and realising that you’ve seen a lot of that before on some very dubious casino sites.

All that says to us that players should exercise EXTREME caution if Betovo is somewhere they are thinking of playing. Everything could be fine, but there are good reasons to suspect that might not at all be the case.

First Impression

Betovo is a relatively new online casino, having only launched in 2024, and it’s one of several casinos operated by SoftGenius N.V. Most of the brands under this umbrella are no older than 2023, so there isn’t much of a direct digital footprint. Currently, Betovo operates with Curaçao GCB license (no. OGL/2024/1647/0892), though the license is issued to “Willx N.V.” rather than SoftGenius N.V. This is a bit of a red flag, it could be just leftovers from a transitory period, but it still warrants caution.

The site itself sports a rather unusual design, with lots of neon greens and 3D graphics, and it offers an extensive catalog of games, a solid selection of payment methods (fiat and crypto), and even a sportsbook. On this front, at least, it all looks good.

This is an impressive deposit match, and the free spins are credited for Bonanza Billion, which is set at a RTP of 95.97% — a pleasant surprise, given how some casinos love to hand out free spins only for slots with the lowest RTP.

Sadly, the good things are completely overshadowed by the wagering requirement, which is set at 35x the deposit and bonus amount. Meaning, you have to wager your deposit an absurd 70 times before you can withdraw the money. There are many welcome offers with much better terms, so you may want to look at other casino reviews if you’re mainly looking for a good welcome bonus.

If you decide to claim this welcome bonus, always be sure to read the terms carefully. Betovo is one of those casinos whose terms can seem like a bit of a minefield, as there are various restrictions to keep in mind — deposits from Neteller and Skrill are excluded, there’s a lot of restricted games to keep in mind, dubious terms like restrictions on betting strategies that are wide open to abuse, and more.

Sadly, there are no no-deposit bonuses at Betovo, but we’ll keep an eye out and update the review if they introduce any down the line.

Generally, the bonus selection is sparse. There’s a weekly reload bonus (50% up to $250, 35x wagering on bonus + deposit) and live casino cashback (20% up to $200, 1x wagering). The reload bonus remains underwhelming for obvious reasons, though the cashback isn’t a bad deal, especially if you’re playing high-RTP games like blackjack or French roulette.

A more unique promotion Betovo has going are daily missions and weekly challenges, with tasks that involve meeting specified deposit requirements, placing certain types of bets, or playing specific games. The rewards seem to mainly include bonus bets or wheel spins where you can win bonus money and free spins, and according to support, they’re wager-free. Granted, these aren’t big numbers we’re talking about, but it was nice to see I wouldn’t have to gamble my hard-earned $5 some 85 times after completing all the missions like a good gamer.

In addition to this, Betovo seems to host a lot of limited-time promotions and tournaments, so that was good to see, given the underwhelming variety of bonuses.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Betovo’s “VIP Journey” has a prominent spot in the top bar, and there are 30 levels players can progress through and earn rewards, albeit with only 5 “VIP levels” that function as milestones with more appealing rewards and specific VIP benefits.

The leveling rewards are either bonus cash or mini-games, and there are VIP benefits that include increased withdrawal limits starting with level 3, and a personal account manager at level 4. The increased withdrawal limits get quite good at the max level, but the program is sadly undermined by the complete lack of transparency.

Namely, though the program looks good on paper, it’s seemingly impossible to find how much you need to wager to gain VIP points or what the wagering requirements (if any) are associated with different rewards. There’s nothing explicitly stated on the site, and we couldn’t get any concrete info from support. That said, it’s impossible to comment on the value the program offers, and it might as well be one of those “just give us money and we’ll give you rewards when we feel like it” setups.

Banking & Payment Methods

Betovo has a good selection of over 20 deposit methods, including VISA, Mastercard, paysafecard, GPay, Revolut, Rapid Transfer, Neteller, Skrill, eZeeWallet, Jetonbank, MiFinity, Flexepin, and bank transfer, which is about as good as you can hope for with an offshore casino.

There are also several crypto options, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Tether, Ripple, USD Coin, DAI, Dogecoin, Cardano, and Litecoin. This is a good selection, though some more specialized crypto casinos have even more options.

As mentioned above, Neteller and Skrill are excluded from bonuses, which is disappointing, but the selection is otherwise solid.

Withdrawal Speed

The withdrawal options at Betovo include most of the options listed above: bank transfers, Revolut, Skrill,, Rapid Transfer, eZeeWallet, Jetonbank, MiFinity, and all supported cryptocurrencies. This makes for some 15+ withdrawal options, which is solid.

What’s not solid is the withdrawal speeds, as requests take up to 3 days to approve for most methods. Moreover, as per their terms, Betovo’s maximum processing time is 7 days, which is a bit ridiculous if we’re talking anything other than bank transfers.

Something else to keep in mind is the rather low starting withdrawal limits — $600 per day, $3000 per week, and $12,000 per month, although they don’t apply to progressive jackpots. Finally, there’s also the fact you have to wager a deposit at least 3x before you can withdraw your money, which might put a lot of players off.

Responsible Gaming

Expectations are always low when it comes to responsible gaming features in offshore casinos, and Betovo rises above the low bar, if only slightly. Namely, the casino supports both self-exclusion and short-term, 24-hour cool-off periods. Both of these options can be activated via support.

Overall, it’s nothing stellar, but given that some casinos go out of their way to hide self-exclusion options or flat-out wall themselves off from any responsibility on this front, Betovo’s approach was a pleasant surprise.

During the week we tested the casino, agents always replied instantly when we reached out, which was a good sign. They were always polite and helpful with general questions, though getting terms-related info was a bit troublesome. We had little luck clarifying dubious terms, and if something wasn’t explicitly stated on the site, we either got conflicting information or were directed to an email that we never got a reply to (at least not within a reasonable timeframe). Granted, this isn’t purely a support issue, and probably more to do with the casino’s lack of transparency on some fronts.

Looking into the casino’s background, a couple of confusing and concerning things came up. SoftGenius N.V. is a relatively new company, founded in 2022, and comes with no direct red flags. However, depending on where you look, there’s two different entities listed as owning Betovo: SoftGenius N.V. on the site, and Willx N.V. on their license certificate.

Now, this might not be a big deal and could just be the result of some messy rebrand or handover. However, it’s still worth keeping in mind if you decide to play here, especially considering some of the other potential red flags, as noted in Max’s input.

Complaints and Track Record

We’ve had no complaints against Betovo at Casinomeister, and they don’t seem to have much of a footprint on other sites either.

Betovo’s sister casinos do have their fair share of complaints, most of which have to do with delayed withdrawals. These seem to have a way of resolving themselves, though there are some that have to do with more serious issues, such as the occasional instance of casinos trying to exploit the aforementioned dubious bonus terms because they decided a player was too successful with the exorbitant wagering requirements.
