By Dave Sawyer, Last updated Jun 30, 2023

Skill On Net the owners and operators of the popular online casino PlayOJO,  have become the latest UKGC licensee to be on the receiving end of regulatory action taken against them by the Gambling Commission, with the UKGC announcing this morning that they have found against them concerning social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.

As a result Skill On Net who own and operate in excess of 50 sites have agreed to pay over £300,000 as a result, monies which will be given to ‘socially responsible’ causes.

During the period of January 2021 and December 2022, the UKGC found during a review of their operations that Skill On Net Limited was found to have:

  • insufficient policies, procedures and controls to comply with its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) responsibilities
  • deficiencies in its responsible gambling policies, procedures, controls and practices, including weaknesses in implementation.
