New Microgaming Slot Goes Live September 6
Warriors of ancient China appear in 108 Heroes Multiplier Fortunes slot
Next week (on September 6) will see the release of the latest Microgaming online slot, a 3 reels and 3 rows game titled 108 Heroes Multiplier Fortunes with a theme that takes players back to 14th century China and a tale immortalised in one of the four great classical novels in ancient Chinese literature…Water Margin by Shi Nai’an.
The story revolves around the Song Dynasty and how a group of 108 outlaws gather, form an army, are granted amnesty and go on to fight China’s battles against foreign invaders, and the Microgaming slot theme captures some of its leading characters across the reels.
The game has a claimed RTP of 96.5 percent and offers a competitive jackpot where players can trigger a maximum multiplier worth up to 2,100x the base stake. The 108 Heroes symbol can multiply wins and act as wilds, with exciting multiplier wild respins for a chance to double rewards. Multiplier wilds exist on every wheel and can combine for wins of up to 10x the original bet, whilst stacking two or more multiplier wilds on the centre reel triggers the respin feature.
108 Heroes Multiplier Fortune follows on from its predecessor, combining player-favourite graphics from 108 Heroes with the mechanics of Mega Money Multiplier, and will be released across mobile and desktop channels.
The Fairies Are Coming
Quickspin to launch Fairy Gate online slot September 12
Swedish games developer Quickspin is all set for the release on September 12 of its latest online slot, a whimsically themed 3×5 product titled Fairy Gate.
The graphics depict an enchanted forest in which a variety of fairies flit about, but the glowing magical orbs are the symbols to look for, triggering the main bonus in the game by way of additional wilds and re-spins.
The game boasts free spins, scatters, wilds and an achievements engine that triggers bonus features when players hit defined goals.
NetEnt’s Planet Of The Apes Near Launch
October 23 listed as the official launch date, but the industry is already buzzing over dual reels game
Back in February this year online gambling games developer NetEnt revealed that it had signed a licensing deal with 20th Century Fox Consumer Products to exclusively develop games based on the Planet of the Apes film franchise.
The partnership covers the entire Planet of the Apes brand – which has a rich heritage spanning more than 50 years – and will see the multi-media brand used for the first time in online casino gaming.
The simian franchise originates from the 1963 novel La Planète des Singes. In 1968 the first movie based on the book premiered, and spawned the popular series. The most recent releases – Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) – have both been critical and commercial successes.
The game is reportedly both complex and entertaining, with two sets of 5 reels and 20 pay-lines each mounted in tandem to present a 10 reel, 40 pay-line game themed on the series, liberally backed by clips from the film and dynamic animation and sound effects.
The claimed RTP is reportedly 96.33 percent.
One of the engaging features in the game is the dual feature, but there are also re-spins, free spins, multipliers, scatters, wilds and bonus rounds to keep players entertained.
The game features the Rise and Dawn play areas, each with 5-reels, 3-rows, and 20-lines (fixed), the Rise and Dawn Free Spins, Bonus symbols, Scatter symbols, Wild substitutions, a Stacked Wild feature, a Dual feature and the Rise and Dawn Bonus features.
Across its dual reels, Planet of the Apes combines elements from the two movies with the excitement of slot game play.
New Online Slot From Microgaming – Quickfire
Rabcat-developed Gnome Wood takes players into mystical forests to discover Wandering Wilds
Microgaming-Quickfire released an exclusive Rabcat-developed new slot just before the September rush in the 5 reel, 25 pay-line video slot Gnome Wood.
Set in woodland inhabited by mystical creatures ready to accompany players on their journey, the game features Wandering Wilds, which can appear on any reel in both the base game and free spins to activate bonus spins. These Wandering Wild symbols can also materialise as Multiplier Wandering Wilds with the ability to double winnings.
As players venture further into the enchanted woodland, they will discover the Gamble Game feature, which grants up to five chances to choose from two magical cauldrons, one of which will illuminate and double wins.
The new game, which has a claimed RTP of 96.63 percent, is accessible on desktop and mobile devices.
The theme includes some intriguing symbols along with more familiar objects like a book of spells, an embossed golden shield…and the gnomes.
More September Online Slots
New games galore continue to arrive
September is already proving to be a bumper month for new online games (see previous InfoPowa reports) and the trend continued this week with news of new slots from Genesis, Games Warehouse, Microgaming and Realistic Games.
Genesis has launched Journey to the West, a 5 Reel/25 Line Fixed lines slot game featuring bonus opportunities that include Free Spins, Pick a Box and a Second Screen Game in addition to the usual array of multipliers, stacked wilds and scatters.
The claimed RTP on the game is 96.21 percent, and the theme is based on an ancient Chinese fable about an epic and adventurous journey made by the legendary monk Tang and his disciples in their quest to retrieve Holy Scriptures.
According to the rather macabre legend, Monk Tang is the reincarnation of an arhat, or a saint in the Buddhist religion. Anyone who consumes the flesh of an arhat acquires his power and immortality, which makes Tang’s trip considerably more perilous as evil-doers try to ambush his party.
The good monk is protected by associates Monkey King, Pig, and Sandy, each with unique superpowers which are replicated in the game.
Games Warehouse has also been busy, launching the online slot Fishing Impossible, a 5 reel, 40 pay-line game in which players pursue a wild selection of fish from a choice of four imaginative ponds: Dinosaur Fish in the Pond Time Forgot, Mutant Fish in the Toxic Pools, Pirate Fish in the Pirate Graveyard, and Robot Fish in the Planet of the Robot Fish.
The Pond Time Forgot is available from the first play, whilst Toxic Pools are unlocked after 3 fish species have been collected. The Pirate Graveyard is unlocked after 9 fish species have been collected, and finally the Planet of the Robot Fish is unlocked after 15 fish species have been caught.
This game has variable RTP depending on the achievements collected – the average RTP ranges between 93 percent and 96.0 percent.
Reading-based Realistic Games enters September with the launch of four new instant win pull tab titles.
Among the games putting a colourful spin on the familiar formula are Sunset Reels and Shore Thing, which allow players to test their luck against bright beach-themed backdrops.
The Snakes & Ladders pull tab draws on the classic board game to give players a fresh and yet familiar experience, while the animal-themed adventure Go Wild on Safari completes the collection.
Each new title benefits from a unique pay-table which includes additional Wild symbol multipliers, ensuring the player has plenty of choice.
Built on Realistic’s HTML5 games framework, and available on phone, tablet and desktop, the four additions to the company’s instant win portfolio allow betting and gaming brands to offer a simple pick-up-and-play product to their customers.
Realistic Games CEO, Andy Harris, said: “We place a great deal of focus on listening to the feedback of our operating partners, and these new releases meet their demand for an innovative and accessible game type that is extremely simple to understand and play.
“There are more of these fun games on the way. They are the perfect multi-vertical product which appeal as much to a bingo player, as they do a sportsbook customer looking for a quick snack between bets.
“The mechanic is a simple ‘pull tab’ which is removed to reveal a win. After selecting their total bet value, players simply press the start button before pulling back the four tabs with a swipe of the finger or drag of a mouse.
“They can press the start button again to reveal all four lines at once, or alternatively make use of the Autoplay option.”
The release of the four new games follows on from Realistic Games’ original pull tabs Sunken Treasure, Pot Luck, Golden Koi, and Diamonds & Rubies. These were recently upgraded to HTML5 only, multi-channel products.
Microgaming will be taking advantage of the coming Halloween season with an appropriately-themed and titled game based on the horror classic written by John Carpenter, which inspired a slew of movies, comics and merchandising 40 years ago and remains the horror/scary one to beat even today.
The Isle of Man developer secured the rights to produce a slot based on the classic tale earlier this year and has been working hard on doing the genre justice as thematic support for a multi-featured game.
