New independent Non-Exec Director Appointment at Entain

The Entain Group plc which numbers the likes of Ladbrokes, bwin, Sportingbet and PartyPoker among their brands, have announced the appointment of Rahul Welde as an independent Non-Executive Director to their board.
Welde most recently held the position of Executive Vice President of Global Digital Transformation at Unilever plc and has in excess of 30 years’ experience in the global fast-moving consumer goods sector.
Welde’s appointment at Entain Group will take effect on 1st July and he will become a member of Entain Group’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Committee.
Commenting on the appointing of Welde, Entain Group Chairman Barry Gibson said: “On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Rahul to Entain. Rahul brings with him exceptional knowledge of customer experience excellence, ecommerce and digital transformation.”
“I am confident that his skills and expertise will further enhance the Board’s ability to support and oversee the delivery of our strategy.”
Dave has been involved in the Online Gambling industry for 20 odd years now. With experience working for an operator based in Gibraltar, where he headed up the IT team at Ladbrokes, to running his own iGaming affiliate websites until 2019.
