By Dave Sawyer, Last updated Apr 26, 2023

The online casino Casumo have today announced that they are to exit the regulated German market, with the casino ceasing all activity in Germany from this Friday 28th April 2023.

In an email communication sent out this morning by their affiliate program Casumo Affiliates, the operator said: “Due to a Business Decision, Casumo will close registrations and stop offering games for players residing in Germany on 28th April, 2023.”

Additionally all marketing partners of Casumo have been instructed to remove all Casumo marketing material directed at the German iGaming market by the end of this week.

The regulated German iGaming territory has of late been causing concern with operators, regulated and unregulated alike. With many operators not licensed to operate in Germany, concerned that their some of their marketing partners may be actively promoting their brands to German residents.
