Honoring the Good, the Bad, and Everything in Between: Casinomeister Awards 2025
By Natasa Milojevic, Last updated Feb 3, 2026
As January rolls around, the season to shine the spotlight on the good, the bad, and everything in between in the industry kicks off, too. Yes, you know what we’re talking about — it’s the Casinomeister Awards.
This year, we rolled out the carpet for 13 winners, and in what follows, we’ll reveal who really triumphed and who, well, let us all down.
Casino of the Year 2025 — 3Dice
The prize every casino in the industry is after, landed with 3Dice, a platform that earned the same accolades last year, too. In 2025, they truly went above and beyond. Their customer support was unmatched, they ran plenty of player-friendly tournaments, and they even delivered super-fast withdrawals. Hard to argue with all that.
Best New Casino 2025 — Slots Temple
You don’t get to see a new casino without teething problems every day. Yet, Slots Temple bucked the trend. Not only have they bravely launched in one of the most highly taxed and regulated markets in the world (the UK, of course), but they have also treated their players with nothing but top RTP slots, even as everyone else in the industry was doing the opposite. More than enough to tip the scales in Slots Temple’s favor.
Best Casino Manager 2025 — Kevin, SlotsTemple
With SlotsTemple’s performance earning them one of the high-value awards, it’s no shock to see their casino manager walking away with an accolade, too. Kevin from SlotsTemple really put in the hard work. He was always on hand when our forum members needed attention, arranged a major competition for our forum community, and even single-handedly navigated our tough-as-nail Baptism by Fire process. A well-deserved nod in Kevin’s direction.
Wooden Spoon Award 2025 — Del Oro Casino
In an ideal world, we’d have no contenders for this infamous award. But, there’s always a casino that finds its way onto the wrong list, and this year, Del Oro Casino didn’t lack the ambition to climb to the top. Among other things, they’ve tried to lead players into unlicensed jurisdictions, confiscated their funds, and then feigned innocence. Enough missteps later, they even ended up in the rogue pit.
Biggest Disappointment of 2025 — UK Gambling Tax Hikes
Just when you thought casinos take the cake with letting players down, enter UK gambling tax hikes, the biggest disappointment of last year. We’ve all witnessed a huge tax hike for online gambling operators that went up to 60% and translated into reduced RTPs. A fine example of how not to do things, especially since it may lead players to flock to unlicensed, shady territories.
Claps all round for all the winners, you surely earned it
After almost 3 months of spirited forum discussions, our moderators went through everything our community had to say. And when we say everything, we really mean it — nothing was glossed over, not even the outright disaster behavior. Once all that was done, the final picks were made.
And now, the easy part. Time to applaud the winners, at least the ones that emerged in the highly sought-after categories. And to the ones that topped this year’s worst list, try not to make this an annual habit.
