Wintingo - is this legit?

Hey Gang

I received an email offer today for a deposit bonus and some extra cashback from the Wintingo Casino Manager William Duthie.

It all appears completely normal and legitimate, except for:

1. The promotion ended 2 days ago, and

2. The return email address for William Duthie is "WintingoManager_at_Gmail.com"

Did anyone else get this email?

It concerns me somewhat that a casino manager would have a Gmail account Why not use the casinos email system?

I was going to reply that the promo was out of date and just noticed the return email at the last second before I sent it.

I'll wait to see what responses I get and hopefully what the Wintingo Rep says (PMing them now)

Did the email contain personal informations (name, account number, etc)?

Using free email services like gmail, hotmail etc. isn't looking very serious. This have been brought up before here at the forum. Why not using "[email protected]" or something like that?

I received the email last night (Mon night AEST) but the promo was for Sat and Sun.

I also share maphesto's concerns about that gmail address. Its good to know its legit, but it doesn't look professional.

Unfortunately the Wintingo.com domain has some email deliverability issues with certain ISP's so we have had to make alternative arrangements. Although you feel they are not professional, the emails themselves do not contain any personal or sensitive account information, they are purely promotional by nature. We are working hard on improving our email deliverability but its a lengthy and time consuming process.

I urge any players that receive emails from wintingo to white list the sending addresses (news(at)news.wintingo.com or updates(at)updates.wintingo.com to make sure that you will receive our promo emails from the Wintingo.com domain. In addition, if there are any concerns as to the legitimacy of these emails please reply to the emails, there is someone on the other end that will respond to you or send me a PM and i will be more then happy to address any concerns.
