WILLIAM HILL TO RENEW CRYPTOLOGIC CONTRACT
Agreement in principle reached on new deal - and 24 games converted to no-download
Internet gambling software provider Cryptologic Inc. confirmed this week that its WagerLogic subsidiary has reached an agreement in principle on a contract renewal with key customer William Hill, the major British gambling group.
Details of the dealwere not disclosed, but CryptoLogic said the agreement with the European betting company would run three years and "builds on the companies' mutually beneficial seven-year relationship."
The current contract was to expire this month but has been extended to allow for completion of negotiations in early December.
Meanwhile, William Hill has launched 24 new CryptoLogic-developed non-download games at its online casino site.
WagerLogic has supplied William Hill with the new non-download games under its status, established earlier this year, as preferred supplier for such games to William Hills primary UK pound sterling and US dollar properties.
