London, 3 June 2008 - Virgin Casino (www.virgincasino.com) today announced the launch of Vegas, Baby! - offering players the chance to enjoy the adrenaline and spirit of this popular Las Vegas slot game online.

Perfect for those looking for a taste of the Strip, Vegas, Baby! is an exciting new game from WagerWorks, featuring 5-reels, 20 paylines of classic Vegas action and the chance to win up to 50,000 credits/coins on a single bet!

To reap this top reward, five Vegas, Baby! symbols are needed on any payline when a 100-credit max bet is placed. The Vegas, Baby! symbol also acts as a wild multiplier, doubling players award value if two symbols appear in a payline.

Meanwhile, players who reveal three or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reel will be going uptown to the Fortune Free Spin Bonus, where fifteen free spins at a 3x bonus multiplier await.

To increase the chances of further rewards, players who reveal three or more bonus scatter symbols during the Fortune Free Spin Bonus, will receive an additional 15 free spins. And if thats not enough, players can keep re-trigging the action with up to 180 free spins available in any single bonus round ensuring the lights of Vegas stay bright, and the pays out of sight!

As with all Virgin Casino games, players can also earn V*Points Virgin Games loyalty points every time they play. Offering players the chance to redeem their points for further Virgin rewards, including Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Miles or cold, hard cash, V*Points can be transferred across Virgin Games portfolio of products, including Virgin Poker and Virgin Bingo.

Premium releases including Cleopatra II, Capt. Quids Treasure Quest and Elvis Multi-Strike have already been added to Virgin Casinos portfolio of games in 2008. Just played it for a while. My review:

Good Points
  • Good graphics
  • Good sounds
  • Seems to pay well

Bad Points
  • Sub-par bonus. (Eh, average, but boring)
  • Additional scatters award no extra free spins
  • No real chance at huge wins

I don't think that it's that good, sorry.. I'd expect much better!

Have to say that whilst the graphics are OK, I found the sound effects less annoying with my speakers off. It also quickly chewed through 75 with one poor bonus round - fine for a high variance / high payout slot, but its payouts seem unremarkable.

I love wagerworks slots (50K Pyramid is my favourite slot), but I can't say I've been impressed by Elvis, Cleo 2 or the newest one. Captain Quids is a nice variation on 50K though.

Agreed 100%

I certainly hope this game was just a fluke and WagerWorks isn't going the way of MG casinos and releasing clones of the same games over and over. Vegas is simply a clone of Cleopatra I.
