Still not 100% sure on a UK players set up , Are we supposed to be banned from playing any sites that do not have a UKGC or can we play them but at our own risk ?

I know after trying to sign up for certain sites nowadays that you often get redirected or get a pop up saying along the lines of " we dont accept players from your juristiction " , And i have always took that as them not having got a UKGC license .

But then there seem to be other sites that do accept UK players but seem to have there license's in the likes of curacao etc...., Are these sites not supposed to be accepting UK players without a UKGC license or again is it a join at your own risk type of thing ,

At your own risk. There's nothing illegal about you playing from the UK at non-UKGC licensed sites, but if the sites were in the EU or any other country other than a banana republic you would be barred anyway as they adhere to the rules concerning UK players.

You have no comeback if they FU. You have no arbitrator to appeal to if they FU. There is risk both ways - you may not get paid, they can do nothing about chargebacks from UK players in the civil recovery system.

You will also possibly be playing rigged/plagiarised software as it's not checked by the UK, like say Netent or WMS or MG etc.

So don't bother. Save yourself the trouble and check the license on the UKGC list.

Were not the famous flavidus slow pay /no pay taking U.K players on the side? without U.K licence, They have the well known providers, Not only are the game providers not stepping in about this but also doing nothing when ripping people off,

With the U.K players there is no rule what and where we can play, But any site offering to U.K must have a licence, Its why there is a alot of sub licence going on, Such as EveryMatrix letting white label casino's bounce of them, I do not know how it works, If they have to buy an expensive licence or surcharge for each site running from them,

Good post there Vinylman Exactly the problem I have now with InetbetEU so all my loyalty and amount of deposits etc gone up in smoke.

They even said next deposit we will give u this and this even a 50% Cashback with no wager I think it was. Also other bonus offers with really nice terms and no max cashouts.

BUT I can't bloody deposit no matter if my visa or neteller. So Vinyl would you know where I can play RTG casino then? I don't think one single one has actually got UKGC license. yeah I can live with it. But I did actually get quite lucky on their slots.

And to be fair I was doing better on this software than Microgaming and all the other money eating slot softwares. What I like about RTG is at least each spin you have a chance of winning a random jackpot. I had quite a few of them.

I know there is also Playtech but don't know why I really don't trust them. I think they have inside players on them Marvel Slots as I have never won jackpot even smallest one despite couple months back I was betting between £6-£12 for 1000s in wagering over hours play same slots.

So again out of interest , Any sites that do not have a UK gaming license that are actively allowing players from the uk to join , Are they commiting any type of "crime" for lack of a better word or breaking any rules .

I don't have any active issues with any sites i am just more and more aware of sites accepting uk players but without a Uk license , Surely these sites should either have a Uk license or be actively banning UK ip's from joining or not allow them to select UK during the registration process .

If they have both of the above options available why do they not do one or the other and is this a warning sign to simply just avoid them ?

UK players are now in a similar situation to the one players in the USA found themselves after 2006. There are both decent and rogue sites still accepting UK players but without a UK licence. It is THEY who are now committing an offence under UK laws, not the player. However, since many are not within the jurisdiction of the UK, the UK government faces a situation similar to that faced by the US authorities. Like the US, the UK has been targeting the means of deposit, and Neteller has already agreed to police the system for the UKGC, although they don't seem to want this to become public knowledge. The banks will also police the system, and willingly as they already regard gambling transactions as "high risk", and many players had trouble getting card deposits to work BEFORE the new UK regulations were brought in.

If a UK player wants to carry on playing at sites they regard as the good ones, such as InetBet EU, they will have to get creative about making deposits, something the US players could probably help them with. Had it not been discontinued, UKash would have been an obvious alternative. However, a similar product may well exist, and available in Euros.
