Does anyone know anything about game provider stakelogic?

Looking though the games on offer, and I came across Dr Magoo's Adventure, which I am almost 100% is a game that was offered by now defunct Sheriff Gaming. There may be more of these - not sure yet.

A little reluctant to play it, as Sheriff Gaming was closed down due to all sorts of criminal activity, as well as the accusation that slots were "rigged to only payout to owners' family and friends".

Or have the games been cleaned up, as have many of the old Top Games that have been picked up by various other providers?

I think 1 game from Sheriff was actually great( okay, good I meant, but quite good), I believe it was called extreme.

Extreme is one of the games - never played it though.

Magical Forest is also there - used to play it a lot.

Stakelogic used to be a part of Novomatic, but according to a news article they were sold off late 2018.
