I have been bugged by this ever since I can remember, having to re-log every time you change game or want to check your account etc, whilst playing at certain flash based casinos - Virgin, Ladbroke`s (sometimes) and by far the worse offender.......10Bet.

I tried a possible remedy by using Opera as it has a configurable reload page option, but, it isn`t a patch on Firefox for most flash sites, and several sites only cater for IE/FF, so in my never ending quest to conquer this beyond annoying aspect of playing at many flash casinos, I stumbled upon this priceless addon that -`If it can cure the problem at 10Bet then it can cure anything` done just that ;).

I have been playing at 10Bet for around 4 hours this evening and did not have to re-log in once, apart from when I disabled the addon just to check if the problem there still existed - it does.

You`re just gonna love me if this irritating aspect annoyed you as much as it did me, and here it is in all it`s beauty........

There is probably many out there whom knew of this, but, as I know several people using this forum suffer from this, I thought I would share a 100% cure for it with everyone interested ;).

Cheers,

Roy.

P.S.

It only works at 10Bet if you set page reload to every 5 seconds, and obviously you have to have the game open in a new window, and set the page reload on the main casino/lobby page.

Sounds like bad programming by 10bet (and others). It looks like it is measuring activity only from the main page, and ignoring the gaming activity. This then triggers a "time out" of your session because it looks like you have left your PC unattended (a security measure), but what is actually happening is that you are in a game. Security time out setting can be measured in minutes of inactivity, and since most players will spend longer than this in a game, the result is getting booted every time you try to switch game.

If it only happens at some sites, it shows that better programming is what is needed, including ALL activity when measuring whether a session is being actively used, not just that in an index page.

This user fix is a "bodge" for bad programming, similar to the long standing RTG problem seen at some casinos where it is necessary to open a browser to get the casino lobby and games to work properly.

It's a useful fix for live stats web pages, but it should be possible to code an "auto refresh" in the page itself, so again it is a fix for poor programming at the other end.

I have the same problem at Ladbrokes, only it doesn't say session expired for me, anytime I have been playing a game for a while, when I change games, only a black pop up screen for the the game appears...no loading..nothing, just a black screen, I have had to close firefox down after logging off and re load firefox, it is so bloody annoying

Spot on assessment bud ;), if it were the software in general then it would affect every site using the same software, notice the main culprits are all sites using multi software`s, these will all incorporate more website design and functions by their own IT people than those who say for eg`s sake purchase the complete package from MGS etc, ok the websites themselves are individual but the games lobbies are all identical here lies the problem I guess.

But nonetheless this addon is the perfect cure for an otherwise very annoying aspect that drives both registered and potential customers away ;).

Footnote:- To any casino`s that suffer from this problem whom have had a bucket load of customers returning and playing trouble free, please feel free to top my account up with freebies ;).

It`s a damn pity that you cannot play in fun mode at 10Bet, if I have gripes at 10Bet it would be - No demo mode, this is bloody annoying as I prefer to try any game before I play it 1st, using real cash to try, can and is a very expensive way to test a new game, and secondly - No loyalty rewards programme in place, for a casino that incorporates a rather high w/r system there would be that little saving grace knowing that after burning out trying to beat a w/r for the last few hours, it wasn`t totally wasted as you have topped up your loyalty points nicely, it`s these little aspects that make a whole heap of difference.

All other aspects of 10Bet are fantastic though, CS in general have cured what little problems I have had and payouts in general are good, these can get better if you drop Michelle a PM ;).

Cheers,

Roy.

@ 10Bet if you are wandering why you see more customers when you have some great bonuses (<3 the Euro goals one btw) going and think we are greedy in general, then unfortunately you are wrong, when we have some spare gambling cash and thinking which casino`s to try, for most of us it goes something like this.....Deposit bonus, loyalty points, cashout times and the flushing/absence of reverse withdrawals.

Just a thought ;).

I`m thinking this problem may be a session cookie or clear history setting in Firefox causing this hun, especially after closing Firefox which will/can clear the cache, maybe try playing at Lad`s using the addon I have linked set at the minimal time of 5 seconds (you can use custom settings and reduce this to one second), this could clear and permanently keep the session cookie upto date thus curing this problem.

Failing that - Google this problem and weed out the retarded crap/porn/I spoke to God/I am God/God gets arrested in dawn raid involving two prostitutes, cocaine, llama`s type of stuff, and you will find help guides etc in maximizing Firefox using :about config and basic settings.

Alternatively - Try using `Hi all you viruses, malware, worms, keyloggers and the like, come get me` Internet Explorer, unless you have the damn security settings set to such a high enough degree to combat these that you can`t even log in to your own website without it blocking a potentially dangerous site, oops went right on one there my bad, just hate the aspect of most software`s using IE as the default browser including Microsoft themselves...`Gates you can afford it buyout FF ffs`.

In other words try using another browser if all else fails hun ;), I do believe there are different versions of this addon for other browsers, like I stated in my OP Opera has this in it`s basic settings.

Hope this helps,

Roy.

Thanks for that seventh777, this has been the bane of my online gaming, and as I like Wagerworks and they are all flash, I'll take a look.
It's like vinyl says, once you deviate from any page off of their homepage menu, it logs you out.

Have you got one that cures the F*****G ANNOYING grey box 'you have been playing for (1) hours' you get on many casinos - yes I know you can remove it in your account settings on SOME casinos.

Lastly, I don't play Playtech any more, haven't done so for months because I find their games good but too hard to get a run on - only ever made 3 wd's from 9 Playtechs I joined, but that's history - I can tell you the MOST SCREAMIN' F******G IRKSOME AGGRAVATING thing ever I saw was when (like is usual on Playtech) you just watched your 4th. consecutive 100 quid deposit suck away in 10 minutes playing say Ironman2 and that bastard tw*tting pop-up appears saying 'Mr. Spawnbollocks has just won the power jackpot for £4,276'.

WTF?? WHY THE F*CK DO I WANT TO KNOW THAT YOU BUNCH OF ***** I JUST BEEN RAPED FOR 400 QUID AND YOU THINK I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT SOME JAMMY **** WINNING 4 GRAND WHILE I'M TAKING A BEATING.......

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...............

How do you get rid of that one then lol....

Yw, after facing this problem for ages I would have gladly sold my ex`s soul for a cure, as far as getting rid of the <random player is winning shit loads more than you hahaha> pop up, alas I have no cure, but, this will help ease the pain <dunover has just pocketed 1k curtsy of popping round Mr Spawnbollock`s house, twatting him round the head with a baseball bat and relieving him of his earlier winnings> ;).
