RTG Disappearing?

No Idea to be honest, but there are still many casinos around that still use RTG. For instance the Legends Group which numbers Casino Max among their properties. Also the likes of the Jackpot Capital Group.

I am on the mailing list for several affiliate programs of casinos that use RTG and RTG are continuing to regularly release new games.

I'm noticing more and more sites are discontinuing the software version of RTG.

Very unfortunate as there are more games and more jackpots on the software version.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
Hi Lounice39,

I assume you are asking about the downloaded casino version.

RTG is not dissapearing but they progress with the time and invest in mobile/desktop version of the casino as 95% of players prefer those options. Some of the features and games are not updated on the downloaded version as statistics are showing there is minimal number of users.

I hope this answered your question.

Kind regards,
Karolina

So many RTG games are missing on the dasktop version which sucks.

Basketbull was a fun one and about 20 others.

Hi all,

I can confirm what Karolina also mentioned above.

A download version requires extra effort and time to maintain and update, while there are not too many people using them anymore. Most people play on mobile.
It's just more convenient for all to use a browser to play anytime, anywhere.

New RTG games are being released regularly, so the game provider is still going strong.

Best regards,
Brian

It seems to come down to the way most casinos are moving towards instant play and mobile-first setups. Fewer players are now willing to download a client when they can just play directly in their browser on any device.
