I took a bonus with Hyper and was following the rules on maximum bets.Went to play Diamond Mine All Action and thought i was opening the game when in fact i was 'buying' a number of freespins. It never crossed my mind that i was doing this as i am fully aware that the buying of features is now outlawed for UK players. It meant that my stake for this was £20,well in excess of the £5 permitted maximum when playing with a bonus.
I played out the freespins which ironically returned a £65 profit on my £20 stake. Before placing any other bets, i contacted Hyper to let them know what had happened. They have come back saying the bonus is no longer valid and that my existing balance of £322 can only been used for entertainment purposes.
Whilst i accept i broke the bonus terms i believe a much fairer solution would have been to have voided the winnings from this particular spin and adjusted my balance accordingly. Also how is it that this situation can arise in the first place bearing in mind the ban on buying features Is it also not possible to incorporate something into the software to warn a player if they are attempting to place a bet higher than the maximum allowed.

I have heard of sites who would make the adjustment as a gesture of good will. You showed good intent by contacting them straight away but as i am sure you realise rules are rules.

Its a shame, if your a low roller like me that would have taken a few hours. Just have to put these things to bed which is easy for me to say on the outside looking in. I feel your pain.

Does that game not tell you what stake you are playing at? Surely you saw it was going to cost you £20?
Yes admittedly it does but i don't think i was even looking at that,i was just automatically opening the game in the same way as i have opened thousands of others. It is also the first slot i have ever seen where you don't actually seem to have the choice of buying the feature or playing normally after you open it.It is either buy the freespins or nothing.

If you are a regular customer at that casino and they won't budge on their position, never use them again. I can understand them being firm if you are a new customer, but not if you use them a lot.

PM username and I'll see what I can do.

Guys,i have sent Jan a PM in the hope he can help but i am not sure how to access any reply he might send. Can anyone help please?

Also to add: David is a regular with us. Therefore it is really easy to go through gameplay and find a mistake. If this happens with a customer with no background information, it would be a different story. Please keep that in mind.
