just wonderig if or how many of us post or feel the need to post when we are chilling in front of the comp and gambling with a drink in our hands. ive done it and am doing it now. i had a margarita. lol it seems loosing isnt as bad if we drink a glass of wine or so. just a thought. and thats when these great ideas come upon us . just out of the blue. i might pay for it in the morning but for now .. its all good. lol

I love (I mean really LOVE) margaritas. If I had one I would have two, and so on and so forth. Now, when I drink, I think I am the funniest and smartest person in the world. Unfortunately, if I did post, I would be a stuttering, obnoxious, silly old woman!!

And that is why I do not drink!!

However, some people really can be funny when they drink. And, they provide great entertainment for those of us that are NOT drinking!

The danger is that it kinda sneaks up on you, often rendering you overly self-confident and in some individuals abusive....how many times right here at CM have we seen players sheepishly admitting that they had made fools of themselves because they were pissed as rats at the time...that's a rhetorical question - plenty!

When drinking and typing, how do you even find keys that remotely look like what you need? I have a problem with the bifocals normally, so trying to figure out where my eyes need to be makes me dizzy It would take me all day/night to try to type one post as I'd have to keep going back and fixing all my typos

I hear ya, Jetset! What I find scary is that I have at times in my life been drunk and gone on auto pilot. I have acted perfectly normal to others, yet I can not remember what I did, wrote, or said.

While I often find the need to write a post while drinking, I don't always find I have to post that post. There is a save draft feature available here at CM.

Sometimes in the morning I don't find the need to post that at all, but usually it just allows me to clean up typing and grammar.

The few times I have been accused of drunk posting, I was sober as toddler... And the one time I can remember posting when I was really hammered, I received my only Post of the Month nomination...

Mate, even word gets back here in AUS how much you like a drink. All the marketing boys have met you and say you DO love a drink or two or a dozen.

All we have to do is watch the meister webchat and you've always got a beer in one hand, by the looks of things it helps you balance.

Only a time limit, which I think is about 2-hours...???
Good job too, because I'm always making posts and then spotting stupid spelling or other errors I've made and re-editing multiple times!

As for drinking & posting - I can't even begin to type when sober...

Actually, I like beer. But in reality, I drink maybe two a week...unless I'm grilling, hosting or attending a party

My beverage of choice is ice cold water from the tap...then coffee...then beer.
