I will be arriving in New York on Thursday and will be in both New York and New Jersey over the next three weeks on business. Still not sure which hotels i will be in, but could do with some ideas of things to do, places to eat (and drink) and also if there are any decent local casinos that won't fleece me too quickly.

Make sure you take a trip to Foxwoods or The Mohegan Sun Casino here in Connecticut from NY.
AC is ok for casinos but the only time I like it in AC is in the summer time because you have the beach.
