online streaming question

I have just been watching some youtube videos of guys who are streaming, I watched one for Nick slots and he has a ticker at the bottom for top donators, my question is do people actually give streamers money to gamble? and if so why on earth would anyone do that

still some were donating 2-10 bux .

Really though I think there is something a little immoral about this, accepting money of strangers to gamble whist pocketing all the winnings

I guess some people like the attention they get from getting their name up on the screen and having the streamet thank them. Some people also see it is free entertainment, and feel good about paying something back.

I think this is a good enough reason to be honest.

Re: the 25,000kr session last night. That was not donations but a syndication between four players.

People do donate to streamers. I have donated in the past and have received them too during my streams.

Streaming is an expensive hobby and all donations are appreciated.

I personally never ask for a donation but the option to donate is there.

The only time I ask a viewer to donate is when they ask me to play at a stupid high bet which I normally don't do. If they want me to do that, they can pay for it! Strangely enough, they never take me up on that offer.

It's the same as youtube peeps with patreon and donations. I have received donations but never pocketed anything, It all went back into my channel.
