Hi all,

After a quick search, I determined that this is the best site on the net, or at least is seems so to me. I'm in Michigan, and I like to play Blackjack, but I really don't like the atmosphere at real casinos. I don't like the noise, the lights, or the people for that matter. I guess I'm kind of a stick in the mud eh? But I do like that Blackjack! So....I'm hear to try and figure out if there is any way for me to play online from this here laptop in Michigan. I know....it's not legal here. I get that. But what about these casinos that say "US players welcome"? Is that only for some of the legal states? Are there legal states? Is there some work around through offshore accounts or something like that?

Sorry about all the questions. I wish I had something to contribute but as you can see, I don't know jack. Thanks for any advise.

I doubt there any legal online sites for Michigan yet - though I'm no expert in this field. I know a few states have legalised it (like New Jersey for example), but I don't have the full list.

However, players in ALL states can play illegal casinos online - you just need to be careful who you chose as there are a LOT of rogue operators out there trying to get their hands on American money.
I list about 50 safe USA friendly casinos on my site - the best of them are probably people like the Club World Group, the Sloto'Cash Group (8 casinos with 4 different softwares), the Jackpot Capital Group and the Tropica Group. Slotland and WinADay are good too - but they only have slots, not table games. There are also a couple with live dealer games.

If considering a place to play, the safest thing is to ask here first - name the casino and any number of members will say if they're dodgy or OK!
