New: Pillars of Asgard & Sword of Khans

@Harry_BKK
I noticed the rtp is between 95.8-96.4 depending on bonus-choice in Pirate from the east.
Taking the 5x one is the best strategy it says.

I was under the impression that Netents picks were just eyecandy, but obviously they must make a difference for the rtp to differ.
Is there a way to tell wich choices are just for show, and wich actually matter?

Should be some rules about that, like how it is for landbased.

Might look like a grid slot but it's a line slot, 65 to be exact :)
Yes, a grid slot with lines, 50-coins a spin, all 5OAKs are either 2x or 1x blah blah. By grid I mean where the game is in 5x5 or more square format like say Tiki Treasures, Moon Princess etc. I think you thought I meant cluster pays? It's still not great, but the feature can be OK if you get the Journey version.

There's going to be a lot of people moaning about Sword of Khans when they realize the feature invariably gives only 7 free spins, even the lower card value scatter expands are hard to get even 4 of, let alone 5 for a full screen, retriggers are hard to get and when you do will nearly always give just 5 extra spins. Good luck with getting the 10,000x bet win cap on it lol....

Yeah I associate a grid slot with Reactoonz, Moon Princess, Jammin Jars or more recently Golden Glyph

In general, if more RTP is reserved for a feature, then it is not just eyecandy.

On this slot, the RTP portion is higher for the more volatile features as they can simply pay more. The max win is only possible in the most volatile one.

In this example, the max win chance is 1:2.6 billion spins, which explains why the difference in RTP is so small.

Woah, did not realize wins over 500x were so rare in Piggy riches.

The problem on PR is the high-line pays for 5OAK premiums in combination with the multiplier wild. The higher these two criteria are, the lower the frequency of such wins.

The other problem is the pay for 2 scatters, that is often 5% RTP or even more on a slot.

been testing Pillars of Asgard the last day or so on buy pass feature with multiple machines running, most bonuses didn't cover the cost of buying a bonus but the best result was 1546x stake.

Got very close to triggering the Rise of Odin bonus which happens when every reel is at full height and this adds a full wild reel into the mix..

Worth noting there are 6... game ids for this slot with variations to the buy pass and way caps, so seek out the 1 mill version :)

Didn't like Pillars of Asgard much at all. Base game is pretty dull, looks really hard to trigger the bonus and then even harder to develop the reels into something decent. Bonus hit rate feels like it's easily in the 300's. I can see where the potential lies but it looks like hard work.

Yeah, i played it yesterday quite a bit, and the bonus is really hard to land.
Managed two bonuses over god knows how many spins.
Second one was even a 4-scatter trigger (every reel starts at 6-high instead of 5)
Got a bit excited, because the screenie i posted on page 1 was from a 4-scatter.

On the 20 bonus-spins i got 3 scatters.... Bonus did not even pay 100x.

Seems like this slot, like all other slot with bonusbuy is waaaay to hard to bonus when playing normally.
Shame really, because i think the bonus is quite entertaining, and would love to be able to try out a couple more. Its just so damn expensive to play for the bonus, and i dont do bonusbuys.

yeah, it reminded me of White Rabbit but even less forgiving, although I did really want to trigger the final feature, someone will get a good win video out of it, maybe a little skewed in demo mode smashing the bonus buy button though :)

Yeah, i think we will for sure see some great hits from the slot.
Can really see the potential of the bonus.

I will probably still give it a couple spins every now and then if i get a hit on some other slot first.
