I have been using Netspends All Access visa gift cards to make my deposits. All has been going well with this method.

I purchase them mostly at supermarkets and now I see them dissapearing (selling out) and NOT being replenished!

They have another type of card "the gift of choice " or something but it's not Netspend.

I'm starting to freak! Has anyone noticed this in there state?

I too have one I reload @ a check cashing store its a net spend - all access - I haven't had any problems so far.. I got it from the from the website.

I also have a reloadable one. for the added charge of just $9.95 for the purchase it was worth it. You get one in the mail with your name that is permanent and can be used anywhere. It does also costs a fee every time you reload depending on how much you reload, but to me it's still worth it!:D:thumbsup:

I did purchase mine at the store where I used to purchase the non-reloadable cards. It did not have a card in it, like usual... but said right on the package "All-Access NetSpend reloadable Visa"

good luck!

I've had no problem seeing the netspend cards but the reload packs are disapearing.

BTW, has anybody had problems using their netspend cards at Inetbet? Mine has been getting rejected there for some reason.

Thanks for the replies.

I used the reloadable ones but seemed to have a charge on there that caused me to have a negative balance. I tried to add to it using W/U and Netspend wouldn't accept the deposit.:what:

I started using the gift cards and have had no problem. They worked at Inetbet 2 days ago.

At first I saw the reload packs/cards dissapearing but now it's the opposite. The reload cards have reappeared and the gift cards are gone. Guess I'm done gambling for awhile. Probabaly a good thing for me.

i havent used my netspend in some time after that last go around i had with them holding funds till the charges cleared, i can tell you that they can be found at some check cashing places and its always the same charge 2.00 to reload , would rather spend the 3.95 to re- load and use my wired plastic, no problems, knock on wood(knock knock) yet.:D...........laurie

The same place I purchased mine is the same place I reload mine. It just doesn't take a "reload pack" anymore. I just go to the register and tell them how much I want to reload and they do it from there. And yes Netspend visa also charges PER transaction. (i believe $1) They will also allow you to go into the negative by $5-$10.. not sure why.

A lot of fees IMHO .. you pay for the card, to reload (each reload) and per transaction if you don't get direct deposit. They do offer another option I believe is $9.95 to avoid the per transaction fees. I just try to use mine minimally and make sure I take some small wins and put them into QT so I can deposit with QT instead. ;)

I Hope that helps.

note, bigchipsgirl.. I have not had any problem using my Netspend at Inetbet. Make sure your balance did not go into the negative.. with the per transaction fee of $1 that is a possibility.
Good luck all.

Laurie? Maybe you could explain Wiredplastic for me? Thanks Debra
.its the one winbig told me about, go on the web under wired plastic card and fill out all details, it will come in the mail ,less than 10 days, you take it to anywhere they do w.u or moneygrams and load it, its 3.95 per load and works better than netspend imo.its .45-.95 per transaction and works anywhere that takes visa, i even use it at the gas station or to pay a bill with sometimes, very reliable card imo.............laurie

My Netspend reloadable card works great too, too great sometimes. I have a Wired Plastic card that I use to get money from QT but try not to use it except for that. The user fees are killers unless you pay for the yearly no charge thing. But you can run into the same thing with Netspend unless you pay the monthly fee. That is probably why cards can get in the negative.

I didn't know that wired plastic had that option! :D There is no way to get the money from QT to the all access visa and in order to wire from QT to your bank the minimum is a few hundred. IMO that is a HUGE drawback. Especially if the option is available to access funds from QT with a wired plastic card!:)

anniemac could you p.m me the info on this one please? it would be greatly appreciated. :notworthy and are they USA available?

***if I had a dollar for every fee I have paid on these cards, reloads, etc...
I would be a high roller! ********** sad but true

Thanks again for the replies.

Winbig is the one who told me about the Netspend gift cards. As I said they work great but I can't find them anymore. I was wondering if anyone still sees them being sold anywhere. Anyone in NY? Thanks alot guys!

How does this work? I thought quicktender was the only deposit option left.

OK gotcha. Netspend and Wired Plastic work for depositing at any casino that take Visa credit/debit cards. You can also load your Quicktender account with them after QT verifies your account. Then you can have your withdrawals from Quicktender sent to your Wired Plastic cards. Both Netspend and Wired Plastic are Visa debit cards that work anywhere.

Thank you. I had no idea the cards would work in the casinos.
