Since the MG stopped taking players from my jurisdiction I am struggling to find a software that comes close to MG. I had so many brilliant sessions on MG and to be unable to play is just frustrating. Making me consider quitting altogether.

I took on 3Dice a while back. Their games are cool - their payouts are pathetic. Half the regulars like KK will tell you that they rarely play there because its so hard to get ahead.

Next was Playtech - I did OK but haven't been seeing anything decent. I am losing at Betfred (My best here was a 59% - Yes 59% RTP on Rome and Glory - lost 2000 Pounds playing 2 pounds a spin), Winning at PaddyPower and just signed up at Boyle about 2-3weeks ago. I am already down over $2000 there and thats EXCLUDING match bonuses....

Tried RTG and its OK too, but has long long streaks that will see you bust a 2k balance playing Crystal Waters on $2 a spin. Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt. I have had sizable wins and losses.

The only other alternative I have is NetEnt. I like some of the Games (Starburst / Dead or Alive) and thats about it.
A perfect example of why I feel the RTP is high but the payouts are low are my results. I have been absolutely mauled alive at Nordicbet... its probably the worse NetEnt in terms of luck for me. Ben has been Great and looked after me but my luck evades me. I have a RTP of 89% OVERALL and most of the games I have played have paid me under 90%...

I tried another NetEnt last night - Start balance of $700 - JackHammer (Supposed to be low variance) bust out without hitting anything remotely close to 50x - $2 a spin.

Moved on to Demolition Squad - Start Balance of $1150 - Stopped when i got back up to $500 playing $2 a spin - Best was 100x bet and that came when I had about $200 or $300 left.

Then Jack and the Beanstalk - Start Balance of $700 - got 3 Features in the whole time I played - Most notably one that took over 1000 spins to get then paid a paltry 20x bet. The other 2 paid 10x or under.

The only Slots I seem to have an OK time on is Starburst or Dead or Alive... I kinda dig them.

Not moaning about my losses, its inevitable that you will lose, but I can't see myself sticking on the scene ... I miss MG!!!

Hi Nate, thanks for sharing your experiences. Can I ask which juristdiction you are in that doesn't allow MG, but allows all the others? I thought MG were everywhere except the US to be honest.

I ask because you write that you have not been seeing anything decent at Playtech casinos. But you have previously posted some very nice Playtech screenshots in the winner section, for example a 970x bet win on Penguin Vacation at Betfred. 500 x bet win on Rome and Glory (about EUR 4000), 1159 x bet win on the Hulk at PP etc?

And of course, you also had a very good hit most recently at Triobet (Nordicbet brand) where you hit a 1800 X bet win ($4750) on Net Entertainment's Dead or Alive .

I'm in no way gonna tell anyone how to play, but just want to let you know what it seems like to me, that you're doing.

By the sound of it, you start out with a ... to most players ... very high starting balance, and play very aggressively, to try and "force" a huge hit out of one specific game. It's most likely not going to happen, and in the rare occasion that it does, is when we see your ... as Rainy pointed out ... very nice screenshots. But in between those very rare hits, you get sucked dry.

You know, probably better than anyone, that 1000X bet wins are very rare, and still it seems like those are the only hits that make you happy, and you seem to keep going, if you don't get them, hoping you can force them....you can't.

I think you would find a lot more pleasure in your gaming, by starting out with a lower balance, and try to build up a decent bankroll, at lower stakes....if you can do that THEN maybe go for the big one. At least, that way you won't be blowing so mucho dinero of your own. You might lose what you just built up, but what the heck...the casino is paying, and not you, and you get to have some fun.

To me, gambling has to be fun, and a lot of the fun is trying to build up, so I can raise the stakes, and maybe get one of those hits we all dream about....sometimes it happens, and that's when you have the most fun. Most times it doesn't happen, but I leave with my pants on.

I know we all have different ways and different goals, and each to his own, but it seems like gambling isn't giving you a lot of fun, the way you're playing it right now.

Thats True Rainmaker - I would see more of the Hits you spoke about at MG - Thats the point ... If you look at my MG screenies you would understand .. I signed up at Triobet because I had BAD BAD luck at Nordic... Mind you that 1800x bet took 6 hours and about a $1000 balance to get... so yeah

I hear you Lahutti - Been a long time player. I usually give myself at least 200 - 300 spins, not to try to hit the Jackpot... if I go down and even break level I am happy. Problem is you never see that balance come up let alone a mega hit. Variance I understand, but playing a low variance game like Jackhammer and being mauled aint funny, particularly when you struggle to even get 3 of the top symbols in normal play.

BTW My favourite Game and a substitute for BDBA is Dead or Alive.

Personally I would say that most NetEnt slots are at least as good as most MG slots - but like ALL softwares, some of their slots aren't so good - and all can be "streaky".
Jack Hammer is a classic example; this is my "go to" slot when my balance is getting low - it can go on terrible long runs of diabolical crap, but when it starts running hot I can be pretty good! This was the slot I started my amazing run at Come On on - started with £79, dipped to £40, then a great run took my bank to over £1,150 - and my biggest bet was only £4.

Did you try some of the alternative ones I suggested last time?

I must admit that i DO enjoy the games like Jack and the Beanstalk - Its better than some of Playtech or RTG's Slots. With so many wilds in the FS I am amazed that we haven't seen a 1000x + Bet yet... Maybe there were a few and I missed them?

I play NetEnt only because I like Starburst and DOA... I need to play something else after a while and I can't only play those 2... So I venture and get taught a lesson.. lol

When i find my NetEnt list of Slots, I will make a few posts... Right now ONLY DOA is worthy to me

BTW KK... I did try all of them... I had nice hits on the 60's and 70's but the 80's took a $500 balance playing $1.20 a spin

I see you are still pining for MGS slots Nate , it`s a no-brainer trying to compare MGS and NetEnt to each other, for a starter how many MGS casinos did you play at?, suffice to say that there were a whole lot more than the NetEnt ones you play at now, and this alone will increase the chances of winning more at MGS ones. The past few years or so have seen me dramatically cutting back on the casinos I play at to around 10 and all these bar one use MG software and or other software.

I agree somewhat with Lahutti about your gameplay, but I also understand how you play and get the message you are sending and this is basically it - We will take one of your fav old slots Santa`s Wild Ride for eg. - Over several sessions although most would leave you drier than a crack hoe would after securing her next fix, but, there would have been at least one jaw dropping hit worthy of a screenshot, whereas, you are doing the same thing at NetEnt, but, no screenshots.

In comparison - How many different MGS casinos and sessions at these on average did it take to get that screenshot compared to NetEnt casinos?.

No matter how high/low my balance is I always start playing a slot at a low bet size, if it`s warm i`ll stay and increase this to suit, if it`s cold i`ll move on, then and only then and when my balance is high enough I will go for the high variance slot gamble and heavily invest in that one hit wonder.

NetEnt have at least one slot comparable to MGS and that is Piggy Riches to how Mermaids Millions used to play for hit and raise tactics, free spins coming fast and thick with good returns and the occasional nice normal play hit to keep the balance topped up, NetEnt have the slots to compare with MGS no doubting that, but, and it`s a huge but, don`t expect them to play exactly like MGS ones, because they don`t, the hits are out there my friend, just try a different strategy .

Footnote:- I recently registered at CasinoVal, but I don`t know much about it, so for now I will refrain from depositing, a propriety casino with a difference Ie. not all the slots/games are the super duper high variance that we come to expect from these one off unique casino`s, try it in demo mode, you could be pleasantly surprised .

I actually played at one Casino (Or Group) exclusively eventually ... 32Red.... At this moment in time I am playing at about 6 different NetEnt Casinos.

I suppose its going to be trial and error for me - Finding the games that suit my play style and that play similar to what i expected on MG. JH, J&TBS, Demolition squad and company are out of the running for me....

Right now its ONLY DOA (High Variance) and Starburst (Low Variance).... Mind you, like I mentioned before, it is currently my favourite slot.

I went in at Triobet last night and did another 4 hour session. Eventually got a hit for 1600x bet on DOA ... processed very quickly this morning (Thanks BEN)

Seems its the only game that I want to play and even if it takes 6 hours. I know that the hit potential is there.

On the others I have played extended sessions but don't expect the same hit potential.

@Perc - I used to play Victorious and then it sucked me dry faster than I could pump in money - I like it but like Jackhammer its extremely volatile. Flowers can be frustrating and I have tried it....

Have you ever tried crime scene? the feature returns from that can make your jaw drop sometimes, avoid the red cross of doom and hit the x2 multiplier after it finishes, my best is just under 200 Euro`s for a .30 cent bet.

A slight derail but, in all purposes a relevant reply to a thread titled NetEnt Slots, this is probably nothing but I thought it may be worth a mention - I joined a fun site a few months ago named Star Games you can play with real money but I stick to their virtual currency (Stars), especially after reading about their withdrawals per month quota which are linked to vip status (no thank you), anyway`s back to topic.

I`m not sure what protocols are in force regarding slots and copyright legislation but suffice to say they have a slot there identical to Starburst, the only difference is the symbols, it has two way paylines of 10 each way, expanding wilds on reels 2-3-4 which are shaped like stars and give a free respin when one lands, the slot is called Power Stars, like I previously stated this may be above board and perfectly legit, but on the other hand there could be a copyright infringement.

I`ll leave it to the PTB to decide.
