I don't know if any of you lot have tried www.MiniClip.com yet - but you should!
For an Americans who don't want to risk playing at the few online casinos still available to them, you might find this multi-player Pool gives a similar buzz... it does for me!
It's totally free and there's nothing to win except prestige - and mine is on a high at the moment!
A few days ago I couldn't win zip and was getting totally thrashed by clueless newbies
But then yesterday I hit a streak like never before and it seemed I could not lose!
As you can see in this screenshot, I'd won 20 consecutive games on the trot - and I also won that final, so now I'm on 21 straight wins.
I almost don't want to play again, because when I lose, my "streak" will be reset to zero...
If anyone wants to try to find me on there for a game, I usually play the 16-player tournaments at various times of the day. But we'd be VERY lucky to meet up as a new tournament starts about every 30 seconds or so at busy times and who you get in your group is totally random.
MiniClip also have 100s of other fun games to try. I'm not a big fan of "shoot 'em up" or racing games - I prefer strategy and skill games, and so these are my personal recommendations:
Canyon Defence
Zombie Defence
Ice Breaker 1 and 2
Fragger 1, 2 & 3
Rubble Trouble 1 & 2
Sky Golf
