Some of you know that some MG casinos offer free spins for certain deposit-amounts. I took benefit of an offer from a Vegas Partner Lounge casino:
Deposit €100, get 65 free spins for Immortal Romance.

I played the free spins after my deposit and won €3.65. So my total balance was €103.65.

According to their T&C:
5.6.3 All play will be reviewed for irregular playing patterns before any cashins will be processed. As per the Casino's policy on fair gaming, irregular game play includes:
(...)
- placing single bets equal to, or in excess of 30% or more of the value of the Bonus credited until the wagering requirements for that Bonus have been met

So am I right that I was restricted to placing wagers up to €1.09 after I've played the free-spins? Do I really have to fear to have my winnings void if I continue playing IR with €1.20 bets? That would be a big disadvantage of these offers because if you win plenty on those free-spins you have huge WR, if you win close to zilch you will be restricted severely on your bet-size.

VPL is not the only group that has this rule in their T&C. Fortune Lounge has set max-bet to 15% of the bonus, so even more problematic. At GoWild/WJ it's 20% but you can always place wagers up to €10, so that wouldn't be a problem there.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.

If they're going to enforce their 30% rule, you would expect them to base it on the value of the spins €19.50 (assuming they were minimum stake)

Ridiculous rules as we experienced plenty in the recent past. :( ..........It should be worded as a max. % up to a max. value. Like 30% up to max 10$.

You should worry about this too:

5.3.2 The total winnings on all Free Spins (whether this is the initial offer or subsequent promotional offers) are limited to $200/£100/€150 maximum. Should the Player win in excess of $200/£100/€150 the excess will be removed from the Players account before fulfilling the cash-in.

Personally, i take very few bonuses these days, i am just fed up with the ever increasing amount of restrictions and rules to the point that i have no fun whatsoever when playing with a bonus.

Yes that would make a lot of sense indeed if you think about "value of the bonus".

Couldn't agree more.

I withdrew a lot more than €150 from free spins in the past. They where connected to deposits though. I think this rule applies only for no-deposit free-spins. Still it should be clearer phrased. I'll contact the rep - he might give some useful input.

It only got my attention because it said "all".... but good to hear that you already got more paid than the stated 150EUR.

there is the problem, You get £5 worth of spins and win 2k, you have a 30x wager 60k :) why not put the value of the spins wager? also what if the op won 10p of spins? you are restrict to 3p a spin

Takes the fish out of the water, some one made up rules and casino's went to far, It is like BGO bonus spins, It sais wager is 20x deposit and bonus? what bonus, its spins lol, yes put a wager on spins but to put it on deposit does not make any sense

IMHO, don't take free spin offers. If you do, don't worry about 1.20 bets. The rules are for big bets.

This is correct!

I too (before UK abandonment) made several withdrawals from deposit based FS over this cap without issues.

I did however get 'caught out' which them made me aware of this term.

I don't know of you guys ever got the postal promotional leaflets when a new game was launched, usually offered 30-50FS No deposit on said game and then 2-3 'match' offers based on your next deposits.

Well I hit huge (well huge for a low roller, around £650) on the NDFS just before UK pullout and only saw £100 of it.

Was told by support as I went on to query/challenge of this rule BUT I was also told, If I'd deposited for the first of the 3 matches I'd opted into as part of this promotion, then once WR was cleared on the match bonus, I would not have lost any of my winnings, even though it had been previously generated from no deposit FS.

If i get any free spins I always use them when the account is empty, never when I have funds in.

Yes but I tend to use the free spins first just so I do not get a headache worrying if I win I will not get cash or will have to use the spins before take out & than it just becomes like a mystery deposit bonus, I remember a while back this was pulled up about butlers bingo and there free spins, I can tell you the rep did not take this lightly, In Fact he near enough said if you do this it could go against you which is just BS

so now I do not take them 100 free spins or if I do use them first and like I said count it as a deposit bonus and extra play, Albeit x60 wager as slots only count at 50%

I like casumo as normally you have 21 days to play a deposit free spins or better still free spins without wager,

I received the the £50 I won from 5 free spins at ace casino. I won like 70p I think from the spins and changed machines,
