Has anybody on here ever won one of these damn things?! Must have played through thousands of spins on various different marvel games and never got on the bonus board. Having said that, my highest spin is £2 so maybe I'm just nowhere near enough wagering amount to get on..

So.. Has anyone ever got on to them before? Which game was it from, how much was the spin and what did you win?

Big cheers in advance

They are random... There have been members here triggering it on less than maximum lines and also on minimum bet.

I have triggered it twice on bets of $2.50 or more. One thing to note, don't chase it, it is a fruitless exercise. If it triggers, it triggers...

My triggers were on IronMan 2 - Both for under $500.

Bear in mind when you play the jackpot slots to AVOID casinos listed in the 'not recommended' section here because they receive the jackpot in one payment from Playtech then pay in silly instalments which means it could take YEARS to receive your winnings, assuming the site doesn't mysteriously fold before they finish the instalments.:(

I've had them a few times (maybe 10?), but the smallest bet was $5. I've once had the second level (at Bet365) but other than that always the first level. The progressive contribution is only 0.99% though so they don't play a major role in the games and anyway, they'll be gone in 18 months or so.

Wonder what will happen to the pot when the games are withdrawn? They have started issuing replacement games (Football Carnival = Iron Man 2, Battle Of The Gods = X-Men) but they don't have progressives. Unless they have something coming like a new Franchise which will take on the jackpots maybe.

Why are the marvel jackpots being replaced in 18 months?

Disney now own all rights to marvel. So looks like all the marvel slots etc. will be gone soon as Disney do not want to be associated with gambling. It is bad for their family image.

Oh right. This is really bad news in my opinion as I really like the playtech marvel slots. Still I suppose if they clone them with other themes then it will be no different. So do you know if the 18 month timeframe is set in stone or could they disappear sooner than that?

Many thanks. Good to hear that you guys have had some joy on this...

I guess, as per their statement, the higher the wager amount the more chance of getting on there (unless you get really lucky with a small amount). My average bet is probably around £0.80 so I'd prob need to be in that really lucky bracket.

Haven't really chased it as such just after a few thousand spins over the last few months thought that it was about time I got there but what can you do... Also, comparing it with the dark knight jackpot where I've got on it on it a few times with a lot less spins but then I guess the lowest jackpot amount on there is a lot less.

Interesting that they are planned to be removed. Could imagine they are extremely popular. As you say Simmo maybe the rights are being taken over...

Just read the Disney thing. Not good, very playable slots. Fingers crossed they put in place suitable replacements..

Give or take - the licence expires in 2016 apparently (not sure which month but I got the impression it would be first half of the year though that wasn't actually stated) and Disney have announced they don't intend to renew it for the reasons that Paul7388 stated - image. Playtech are pretty on-the-ball though...I'd be surprised if they didn't have something else lined up.

Last year at G2E, WMS had an amazing land-based version of Iron Man. Wonder if that will be affected...it was a monster of a game.

I really like them but I would be interested in knowing how popular they are overall. I really enjoy them but I hardly ever see screenshots from Playtech Marvel games here at CM. I suppose this could be down to the large number of discredited Playtech casinos and it does seem hard to win big on them but it has always surprised me at how seemingly unpopular they are in comparison to MG and NetEnt. Perhaps it is down to a lack of availability in certain contries? Or maybe they are just not that popular with CM members? I will be sorry to see them go that is for sure.

I have also noticed the Elvis series of IGT slots have nearly vanished now, plus Texas Tea (an IGT slot that for some reason was excluded by many sites for WR purposes.)
In the case of not-won Marvel JP's I'd expect them to be transferred to seed alternative games already in existence.

Guess they've gotta pretty popular to keep up with the jackpots they give out (not that I'd have any experience of that ) + the names alone must attract the casual player. Had a few big wins on their free spins, nothing major but enough to keep me interested. As you say, could be down to the bad name of certain playtech casinos that they aren't on here much...

Completely agree tho, will be missed, fun games to play...

I got my first Marvel Jackpot yesterday with a $1 bet on Elektra. Obviously got the lowest jackpot and possibly the lowest sum i've seen anyone win on it. $63!

Was exciting though. :D
