Hi Guys,

i'm sure you know that.. Sometimes you spent too much in Casinos and you should "take a break", but instead you see as an option to play just with a very small amount of money and try to get your bankroll up...

Which video slots you guys play when you want to get your bankroll up, or what is your personal "strategy" to build a bankroll in a not "high variance" way :-)

Just wondering... ;)

Cheers,
Hoff

If you feel like you should take a break, then that is probably what you should do. Take a little break

I know I did not answer your question. But if there was a game you always could go back to and play to build money,
then we all would play this game all the time.

I'm sure there's not a "sure" bet :)

But i'm also sure that everyone has his/her favorite slots if you're down to nothing.... :) I know it's sometimes also more a psychological thing, but on the other side there are low variance slots that pay more often than others... I'm just wondering ;)

I don't really know why (and I'm not saying these slots work better than others) but when I'm close to busting out these are the slots I usually turn to:

MG: Spring Break (or one of the clones), or HoHoHo
Rival: Winter Wonders
NetEnt: Jack Hammer 1
RTG: Paydirt
Playtech: Lotto Madness
GV: Jackhammer Jackpot or Eureka!

KK

Been trying a bit of lowrolling lately myself as some un expected medical and vet bills came up.

I have found that if you are destined to lose your money it does not matter how much your betting, of course it may last a touch longer for some but atm for me it is not the case.

Wow i played so many times on RIVAL but never tried the Winter Wonders slot... So you like it? :)

3. Gonzo's Quest - Net Entertainment

Possible max win:
1. DOA - 2500xBet
2. BTBA - 3750xBet

WOW. ValDes you must have huge balls... hahahahaha! These games are all pretty high variance, i would be so scared playing them with a low bankroll :)

Yes, Dead or Alive from Net Entertainment certainly has great potential. I have seen some very nice screenshots from that game in the winner section lately. By the way, several of the screenshots have been over 2500x total bet win (I see you wrote that 2500xbet was max)! The lowest bet for all lines is EUR 0,09.

Actually I DO!:D

@rainmaker

Yeah, I just love these screenshots, most of them made by Nate (my personal number one DOA player) but it is more than 2500xBet, cause it was a combination between 5 scatters+another small winning combination!

Sounds interesting... I will try that next time when i'm having a "near death experience". Let's see if i will be dead or alive after that... haha

Just remember that this game is extremely high variance! It will most likely eat you alive, but it also has the potential for some very huge wins!

I would not recommend playing this game with a low balance :)

Thanks for clarifying that.

Yes, Nate has in a short time become a DOA legend :D

I have also did my 5 scatters glory day twice on bet 0.90 and 0.36 years ago! ;)

Great to hear! Let us hope it happens again

I have never hit something like that on DOA, but only played it a few times for real money. I have a thing for Piggy Riches. Stupid pigs :D

I would say exactly the same as ValDes as my first choices if I have just a little money left.
I have been winning so much on BDBA and DoA.

On MG I have a lot of others I also play when I'm almost out of money.
Centre court is the one after BDBA and then as KK said, Spring Break and its clones.

9c always feel a little too small but 18c you can win huge on;)

Yeah - I don't really know why - it's just one of their original slots going back to 2006 (when they only had a handful!) and it's just a simple 10 free-spins @x3 game. As you know, Rival slots tend to give features a bit more frequently than most other softwares, so I just think it's a good a slot as any to get a "little run" going, which could just save me from bankruptcy!

My fav one is Gonzo, even when running out of money, I just lower my stakes up to 2 cts per line, level 2 ( 0,40 euro).:)

Yes, Gonzo's Quest is a great game. It is still one of NetEnt's most popular games 2-3 years after it was released :)

USA, here.

Well, since I am somewhat limited to RTG, I have just discovered, from reading posts, about Fruit Frenzy.

I never liked playing this slot because I never won diddly squat...BECAUSE i used to play ALL lines.;)

Now after 7 or 8 years of playing RTG, NOW I get 'the knowlege', so to speak.

The trick is to play half the lines, so you have all lines on the left of the game but just the top, middle and bottom lines on the right....low rolling.

Also one important piece of info, is If you play at, lets say 50cents or even 25 cents ( got my balance up from $2 at 25 cents a spin to over $90 once ....in the free play time you are automatically playing at full line value....coool. :)

Interestingly I just tried this and was able to win 25 free spins by doing what you suggested above:) This strategy CAN bring you back from the dead so to speak.

Was able to go from .81 to $10 after the free spins. PLAY ON....................................:p

LOL!!! Excellent, Beth!:)

Thanks to this forum and the peeps that 'keep us informed'.
It's amazing, isn't it?

Just wondering, though, if the other 'low variant' slots act the same way within RTG?

Would like to hear about this more.

I don't know about other RTG slots then the one that was mentioned, but i do know that you can play less lines on any slot, which can also save your ass:
i myself posted plenty of shots like that, (vegasbum is of course the master) and i'd suggest if your really scared to bust, to try following slots:

3Dice:
Payola 9 lines (20 line slot, does amazingly well on less lines imo)
Squirrel pike 9 lines (which is all lines) just like BDBA and other 9 liners mentioned, low cost, possible huge rewards.
Star Struck (posted few great hits in winner section at 5 ct, the fun thing here is that if you get freespins, the high symbols are scatters and it sort of works the same as fruit frenzy if you catch my drift:))

32Red(or any trustworthy MG):
Bdba (reasons mentioned by me and others)
Ladies Nite and clones ( my fav is still Tally -Ho) all can be played at 0.9 ct, and have possible monsterhits.
The High Life: doesn't seem a very popular slot, but it's playable from 0.5 ct and has boosted my dying balance back to a playable one on occasion.

Nordicbet/Redbet (or your choice of Netent casino)
Real Steel and DoA ( reasons mentioned by me and others, low cost, huge hitpotential at even 0.9 ct)
Starburst: i did great on this slot at 0.10ct, and even wehn playing just 5 lines (0.5 ct)
Kings of Chicago: from 0.5 ct bets, i have gotten a less then a 1$ balance back up to over 10$ in a few occasions

Of course, you will need to hit, if theres no spark of luck it doesnt matter what you play i.m.o:
yet, decreasing bet per spin, can give you room, sometimes just enough for luck to kick back in.:)

Also on rtg theres 0.1 ct. keno, and on 3Dice there's 0.2 ct. keno

Nordicbet/Redbet (or your choice of Netent casino)
Real Steel and DoA ( reasons mentioned by me and others, low cost, huge hitpotential at even 0.9 ct)

Yes, that Reel Steal game also has the potential for large wins. Dead or Alive has a slightly better TRTP% of 96.8, while the TRTP% on Reel Steal is 95.9 :)

It is important to note that playing less lines increases the variance and does not increase your chances of winning.

Yes, fruit frenzy gives you all 25 lines in the feature regardless of how many lines you played when triggering it, BUT your chances of triggering it are only around 35% of someone playing 25 lines because 5OAK is required to trigger in the first place. You also have much less chance of triggering more than one feature per spin.

All you are actually doing is making it HARDER to hit a feature and EASIER to miss multiple triggers. Also, the RTP is the same regardless of lines played, so you're not increasing your chances in any way.....you're just changing the frequency of your wins.

The difference is that you are likely to go 3 times longer without a feature playing 9 lines, and as a low roller I personally wouldn't find that appealing, given that the biggest complaint about RTG seems to be the lack feature hits.

Nothing wrong with doing it for something different, and it might appear at times that it "works" because you'll be further ahead at various stages......but equally you'll be further behind at others due to you increasing the swing of the pendulum.

In.other words.....its not a "trick" or a way to "beat" the slot....sorry secret :(

We would be having another discussion entirely if the feature were triggered by scatters I.e. trigger chance was the same regardless of lines, but I don't remember ever playing such a slot or know if one even exists.
